"I can't wait to buy these!"
#saidNoOneOver17
  • 10 1
agreed. the only way i buy these is if the athletes get a percentage of the profit.
  • 5 1
@NorthcountyAM: yup - think I'll save my money for now and pass it on if there's an injury. their care of athletes at this event has been deplorable over the years.

I think the water bottles are kind of cool, funny how they thought they should feature only the tackiest stuff.

Also you gotta love the marketing: "But you don’t have to wait until then to grab your official event gear. Drop into Red Bull Shop US to find the brand new, limited edition collection of t-shirts, hats, accessories and more"

yeah buying a rampage t shirt will definitely help with waiting for actual rampage to happen.

and just like that is off the front page
  • 3 1
@NorthcountyAM: Or it goes towards insurance....

Is there a shark feature in this year's rampage to jump over?
....anyone?
....is this thing on?
  • 1 0
@nicolai12: i would be good with that.

With those designs Red Bull is expecting the clothing line to be picked up by WalMart.

What an odd selection of clothing. I want sone underwear with the Oakley sender on it
  • 39 0
Not sure they could fit that on a thong mate.
  • 6 1
 Pre-stained?
  • 15 0
 I feel so.... marketed
  • 11 2
Wow. They’re making $25 profit per shirt at least. Gotta get back in the black somehow.

MAYBE SELL MORE EVENT TICKETS INSTEAD
  • 7 0
You know how when you see a guy with a Loose Fest T-shirt on you know he's a legit rumbler? Yeah, that is the exact opposite of what Redbull just did to all of their hats everywhere on the planet.
  • 2 0
Except these explicitly say RAMPAGE 2017 on them and have a different logo from "athlete apparel"
  • 6 0
But it gets worse!!!! The BUILDERS at Rampage don't even get a free T-shirt. "They're only for the athletes, but you can go buy one over there."
Not only that, but 3 of the 4 diggers didn't even get the hot lunches when they arrived towards the event (only 1 all access bracelet and 3 digger bracelets- which the security guard is there to halt).
I was shocked to say the least. We would just ferry out hot lunches.

I didn't even pay that much for my Patrick Swayze T shirt.

Coming to a Bass Pro near you...
  • 3 0
Instead of selling merchandise, figure out how to open up more tickets to the event. Selling out in 10 minutes and then finding them on stub hub for 300$$ per ticket. SCAM...

Disappointed in Redbull and this lame gear for people who don't even go to the events.
  • 9 3
"and all proceeds go to the athletes and their insurance"....... oh wait what?
  • 6 8
"I see no changes, wake up in the morning and I ask myself
Is life worth livin'? Should I blast myself?
I'm tired of bein' poor..."

What in the actual f*ck? ^^^

@chillrider199: I'm so sad we live in a world where kids have no idea about Tupac.....
  • 3 1
@scott-townes: Ohhh.. Sorry more of an ACDC, Lynard, Slayer, Metallica kind of guy.
  • 8 2
That hat will go well with your A-line t-shirt
  • 6 1
Speaking of Rampage, it would be cool to see some sort of a Photo Epic soon...
  • 18 4
Maybe once the event has happened perhaps?
  • 2 2
You know the event isn't until next weekend, right?
  • 7 0
@jamieSaunders: Yeah, but there has already been a lot of building and scoping lines on the site, Instagram is full of coverage from all the athletes so would be cool to see some similar materials made by Pinkbike journalists. Plus I didn't say Rampage finals Photo Epic, did I? ;-)
  • 4 0
@BorysZG: Building only officially started today. Before that, it was just guys already there checking some of the lines etc.
  • 2 0
@RichardJBos: would be cool so see some run up to rampage thing. Considering it is such a big event for RedBull the build up is always a bit meh, plus why work so hard on these lame tshirts instead of some sick road to rampage for the lesser known guys at the event.
  • 7 1
Every Theme Park ever called: They want their shit merch back
  • 3 0
Soon to be seen at a trail centre near you, fashioned by that bloke on his 170mm #enduro #freeride bike mincing down a 2ft drop, feeling like he looks like a hero.

Where there's a moron, there's a market.
  • 6 3
Fuck! Redbull, when you exploit and milk every dollar out of a respected and anticipated event like rampage, it feels tacky and loses its luster. Keep rampage hard.
  • 4 1
You do realize literally every company even remotely involved in mountain biking is doing the same thing right? You think companies would sponsor athletes if it didn't make them money? Or that they would pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to have a WC team if it didn't make them money? Or that the UCI gives a crap about DH other than that it makes them money? People in the industry still have a bottom line and that is to make money, so yeah Red Bull is going to try and make as much as they can but so is everyone else. Don't just go after them, go after literally anyone who is making money in the sport.
  • 2 0
It's ideas like those that seem to kill off my favorite parts of my favorite sports. Wait for it. 5 years from now,
Rob Katz will own the whole f*cking rampage site, all the gaps will be gone and there will be yellow jackets issuing athletes citations for riding "in a manner inconsistent with and unbecoming of a Vail resorts affiliate."
  • 2 0
If you want me to advertise for your company give me the shirts or hats for free at the race. Don't expect me to spend $30 on a hat. $30 on a t-shirt. What the f*** are you all smoking
  • 3 0
Who the F designed these shirts and hats?
  • 3 0
Is a shirt that says "Speed Wheelies" on it too much to ask for?!
  • 1 0
 HA!
  • 3 0
This is pathetic, even for RB
  • 1 0
Last years socks were dark blue and sold for $5 a pair (well) after the event. I picked some up, they're pretty high quality and fit well while watching events on my screen.
  • 1 0
Did Red Bull just become the Fox hat/hoodie/truck decal of 2017? Uh oh. Anyone want to take bets as to when we'll see this stuff on www.peopleofwalmart.com?
  • 3 0
 Can I buy some skills?
  • 3 0
 $30 FOR A HAT????
  • 2 1
I don't know where you live, but New Era hats go for anything between 35-45 euros here in Austria. So 30 USD isn't too bad.
  • 2 0
New Era trucker-style blanks (not the high crown fitted caps) in bulk, are around $5 per unit, after embroidery and set-up charges comes out to like $8-9 per hat. So your $35-45 sounds even more ridiculous than their $30.

And while we're at it, depending on the brand of tee and quantity, Gildan/Hanes/Fruit of the loom/etc.. with screen printed art - those are all $6-8 t-shirts that they're pushing for $30.

RedBull, fire your promotional marketing design team.

@NYShred: you listed embroidered/printed in USA prices, you know that's pure china and even cheaper
  • 1 0
First year of Rampage that I won't add a hat to the collection... Guess I'll just keep rocking the plaid from 2016.
  • 1 0
@bluntaaronr: just received my little bit of Rampage apparel ever, the desert camo flat blim cap and it’s so legendary looking!!! Now just wait for the event to play out!!! It’s gonna be a doozy!!!!!!! Wink
  • 1 0
@DigRenno: Works for some! Rock it if you've got it brother!!!! You making it up for the big show?
  • 1 0
@bluntaaronr: Nope!! Frown never have been to a Slopestyle Event or a Freeride Event!! Frown if I had to pick one it would definitely be Rampage.... but Crankworx Slopestyle Innsbruck or Rotorua sound awesome too... but Rampage is a whole nother level... and with the mixup this year!! Some Pro that has never won might get a chance for redemption!!!!!!

I sure hope the money raised is going to support the riders that risk it all!! If so let us know that and I will support it!

Those prices are on a Rampage...

Now the "Rampage" lifestyle available for those living in the burbs ... How fitting !
  • 3 0
 No hoodies?
  • 1 0
I aspire to wear nothing that comes from a "collection", (unless purchased at least a 50% discount off retail)
  • 1 0
I'll buy one if I can get some coverage of building and line choice. Send an invoice please.
  • 1 0
I tend to like to support the company that brings me every sporting event I watch, for free. Just saying,
