I know by the end of this event everyone is absolutely beat, however everyone in the tent keeps their smile and great attitude even down to the day. Thank you Sram for the awesome and sometimes thankless service you provide!!

Municipality is enforcing its bylaw this year. None of the exhibitors/ participants are allowed to perform paid service or sell any goods...

More like Vail Inc enforcing the bylaw.

Genuine question: I was always curious, is the sram/RS service free (as part of cwx I guess)? How does it work?

They tend to be pretty generous with some things, but typically it costs. Last year had I my shock serviced for $120 CAD. Lots of locals use it to warranty stuff.

They've always treated us and anyone that's gone up to Whistler that I know really well if there is something needed. I think I bought a 2015 XO for my DH rig (in 2017) brand new. The first run the b-tension mount broke off. Apparently it was a known problem and they swapped it out with the most recent one. No charge, no questions asked.

I wonder if moving the booth down to lot 2 has to do with all of the traffic it creates during CrankWorx around the lift lines and such. Seemed like prime real estate right there for what they offered, wonder if there was just too many services being offered and utilized. Never a bad thing!

@krashDH85: rumour round town is it's due to complaints from the tent biting into local bike shops business, no idea if it's baseless or not

@fowlero: Ah yeah that's a good point, might have some validity

Is it usually same day service for (straightforward) servicing of shocks/forks? Thanks
