Hey Pinkbike - have you ever wanted to ask Steve Peat something - well I will be with him tomorrow and I'll be taking a whole chunk of your questions to ask him!
Read on inside to find out how to ask Steve Peat a question...
If you want a chance of Steve answering your question, all you need to do is add a comment to this article with your question inside of it and I will pick a chunk of them to ask him tomorrow at his interview for Pinkbike.com. Then check out the article next week to see if your question was picked.
Probs just a myth, but id love to test that out to see if its true
Whats your most memorable moment in DH...apart from being world champ!?
ps. Thank you for taking a picture with me at Bromont 08' !!
anybody could have asked that question
jk but really, in the off season, what do you focus on more on a spin bike? light resistance long runs or heavy set sprints or is it a mix?
1.what has been your worst injury to date?
2. what are you into apart from riding bikes?
Cheers! Xander.
then there are the "normal" ones like "who were your inspirations as a child that catapulted you into the world of mountain biking?"
and the annoying i-should-buy-some-magnesium-levers-for-my-brakes-to-save-12-grams kids ones like, "when should i run my minion dhf 3c, in loamy or wet/muddy conditions in off camber root sections or vice versa?"
and the interesting ones like "do you still get to hang out with provided hot chicks at events even though youre not sponsored by monster/rockstar like sam/cam?"
and then theres the ones that all the pro wannabes who will never have the resources/natural athletic ability/ luck to ever become pro will ask, like "how did you become pro" (very thoughtful eh)and dull expected questions like such
the only one i would want to ask is "what will you do after your career is over(hopefully not soon) that will supply you with enough money to live comfortably since pro DHing isnt exactly a fountain of money?"
cheers
2.If you could do anything in the world, besides be a professional Mountain Biker what would you be?
3. What is the one thing you would like to accomplish/do before you die?
Thanks,
-Chris
Please ask Peaty if he runs his Suspension Rebound (front and Rear) Fast or Slow as a rule or does it depend on the course he is riding?

Q: After amassing the most WC DH wins in history and finally winning the World Championships last year, do you get a sense of finality in respect to your racing career? Do you see yourself moving on to the next stage of your mtnbike career as possibly a team manager in the near future or will you race until the wheels fall off?
What's your favourite (Steve Peat) segment and why?
Which shoot did you most enjoy and why?
Cheers Mate.
Do we have a chance and will you be supporting the boys down the local pub over a few Stellas ......... or do you think they are a bunch of big girls and you really can't be arsed?
Come on England!
In the ultimate video that could be made to highlight some of your major accomplishments, what one song would you choose as the soundtrack?
Cheers
Kyle

So mine are simple, how do you describe human capacity, physically and mentally; do you think that if you are at the peak of the sport that you practice, is it a chance or the result of hard working? Do you think that you could push your capacity farther?
do you like sitting at the top of a race run being focused/nervous or do you just want to get riding
Rob's commentary on Freecaster is legendary and seeing him in tears when you won at the Worlds in Oz last year brought a tear to my eye too. What's your favourite quote from the big man?
Have past World Cups in the States been up to par with the other tracks on the circuit?
How do the fans from the US compare to others on the circuit?
Could you be as good as you are with a less well known, less sophisticated bike (i.e. single pivot, 8 year old design, poor geometry)?
Basically - is it the bike or the rider?
Steve, you obviously know your looked up to/admired by millions riders. Kids and adults alike. Many of the big kids like myself have to work for a living, in jobs that never give then the chance to live not even a few weeks of your lifestyle (the Military). Who did you look upto as a sporting inspiration back in the day & who do you look upto now for the same inspiration & focus?
But can you ask him if he's seen Lego Steve Peat World Champ Edition ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-4N-21uJAE ) and if he likes it? I had to make an animation for part of my degree, so I immortalised the King of DH in lego

Seriously though, have you ever considered training for/competing in other cycling disciplines, for example track cycling?
1: When you got your first ever sponsor did you ever think you'd become such a legend?
