Well Peaty is back at it. Teaming up with business partner Nick Bayliss from Royal Racing, and in conjunction with Lizard Skins, Steve Peat has created the "Peaty" grip. The "Peaty" is a soft compound grip, with custom engraved Lizard Skins "Peaty" logo on it.
White or Grey
Ready To Rock
Produced in either a Red, White, and Blue combo or Grey and Red color scheme you can either be patriotic, or be rolling on the "Peaty" grip secretly. Recently i switched my old beat up grips out for a set of these "Peaty" grips, and of course guys, Dolla-Bill picked the whites, because we all know that white is the bomb. Unfortunately these grips don't go see through in water.
The other day i had the chance to go out, and give the grips a test ride. Let me tell you guys, i was super happy how they turned out. I don't know if Peat and I have got the same paw size, but i felt super at home, and you guessed it, happy with the new grips!
Whiter than winter | Front and Center | Peaty |
So if you think you're a clean enough rider to roll with the whites, giver! However here's a little discretion for you guys. White does not stay white, after a few crashes, and rubbing your glove on it, it will get dirty. However, they do make a graphite colored version as well. You can get the grips through
Lizard Skins, or through your local bike shop. Thanks for watching folks, have an awesome week.
As Steve Peat himself would say:
CHEERS!
DON'T OVER-TIGHTEN THE LOCK-ONS!!!
Lock-on screws strip very easily, and they are a pain in the *** to remove afterwards.
any cleaning product for those white parts after they get some dirt?
