Steve Peat has long been known as a rider that takes promising talent under his wing, and there's a big list of riders from Marc Beaumont, to Brendan Fairclough, to the current World Cup DH Champion, Josh 'Ratboy' Bryceland, that have benefitted from Peaty's knowledge and support. Steve massively enjoys this role, and the Steve Peat Syndicate is his way of taking this to the next level and supporting another generation of racers.

"I don't know if I'd ever have been where I am today without Peaty's help and advice over the years. Steve has made me a way better racer, simple as that." Josh Bryceland, September 2014.

Peaty's experience, knowledge and passion for racing is just one of the reasons why his Syndicate is unique. The place to find more information about exactly how the set up works, and why it could be worth joining the same winning team as the current Elite UK Gravity Enduro champion, Neil Donoghue, is over at the Steve Peat Syndicate website stevepeatsyndicate.com.

SPS are now taking inquiries from any riders, regardless of location or race category to be considered for the 2015 program.

Just like Peaty and enduro shredder Neil Donoghue, as part of the Steve Peat Syndicate, riders get to race on state-of-the-art Santa Cruz machines - buying into the SPS enduro team package gives you the option to pick the Santa Cruz bike that fits your own needs the best. Bronson, Nomad and Tallboy LT models have all been successfully raced depending on the terrain this season. Whatever your choice, the 650b or 29-er Santa Cruz machines make for an awesome, reliable race weapon.

Another key ingredient behind Peaty's success is the help of a dedicated team of professionals at Sheffield Hallam University in Steve's home city and, as part of the Syndicate team, the door is opened to the same world class fitness and psychological resources used to win the DH World Championships. Whatever your goals, joining the Syndicate enduro program is your chance to improve into a fitter, faster racer in a friendly team environment, backed by over two decades of mountain bike race knowledge.

I do race.. But I'm just saying.. For those who don't it isn't very fair, I feel bad because a lot of places in my area don't have any races.. I have to drive minimum 6 hours to a race of mine..

 Same here dude.
In my country, i can rarely see national or even local races.
Because MTB in my country is (still) the MOST expensive sport, even golf lost it's fame.

Exactly, I wish there was more development, but for now I have to build my own dirt jump track, I build 90% of my time and ride only 10% because thats my only option.

I think its Uk only, like someone already said its not a competition. You pay for the package, simple!
  • 2 1
I just wish I was good enough for this. Do you have to be in the UK to be eligible?
  • 2 1
I can only imagine you have to be in the UK... bit of a shame NZ and Aus are behind the eight ball when it comes to enduro.

:L idk about the enduro opportunities here in NZ. Might as well start racing though, but I know they focus on cross country a lot more.

"Last 2 seasons race results, if you have any or a summary of the racing you may have done a few years previously. You don’t have to have raced recently to be considered.
- Some photos or videos of you riding if you have some.
- Background info, how long riding and what other sports do you take part in."

Let's all get in on it!!!! Someone has to win it!!!

You know its not a competition right? You apply and if you're good enough you'll pay like 5/6/7 grand for a bike, gear, race entry and a day or 2 riding with peaty.
That's how the Dh sps works, and to be fair for the price you pay its worth it for the bike alone.

This I know, by win I mean be selected from the probable thousands of entries!! They will need to sort the wheat from the chaff!!

If you are really keen on turning pro just ride you arse off, go to every race you can no matter what discipline, be approachable, approach people and get good results.

Also this program that has been put up by Steve Peat sounds brilliant if you can afford it and do race hoping to eventually get on the EWS as a contender.

I believe he licensed SPS to the US. I think it folded.
