Yeah Bro! Biker Cross and the High Roller Ride take over Sun Peaks Resort August 9-10, 2008

Sun Peaks, BC – Summer is far from over and things are heating up August 9 & 10 in the Sun Peaks Bike Park!

The Yeah Bro! Biker Cross on Saturday, August 9, is all about flow. Every rider will get two runs through the biker cross course, and will take their best time from the two runs. The top rider in each category will take home a cash prize, full Sombrio kit (riding jersey, shorts, and gloves) and more! Close to $3000 in Sombrio gear, and a total cash purse of $500 is up for grabs at Yeah Bro!A massive sound system and beverages from Pepsi and Monster will keep the energy levels high all day. Register in advance for $5.00 or register on event day for $10.00.

On Sunday, August 10, test your luck and riding skills in the High Roller Ride (originally scheduled for July 5). Local bike shops will set up stations throughout the Sun Peaks Bike Park and participants will have to search them out in order to test their luck with a roll of the dice. You don’t have to be an expert rider to participate! Each rolling station will be accessed from trails of all skill levels. The High Roller Ride is free for everyone. Sign up on event day at the base of the Sunburst Express.
