We were greeted this morning by overcast skies, drizzle, and a gloomy forecast. As the day wore on and the FMB Finals were fast approaching, the BMX street event finished out and we exited the area to sunny skies - thankfully.
The crowds gathered in close, media scurried into place, and we were under-way with the Prime Line Finals. The only issue was the wind, which played a role in a few rider's runs, with Amir taking the slam of the day and not being able to finish competing.
Thankfully, after the first runs were completed, it abated a little and the delays were shorter and the riders got cleaner second runs. The riders weren't holding back as per usual, and the name of the game for 2015 is combos - if you're not throwing two tricks in one air, you best be doing something big. Stand out tricks were Rogatkin's triple-whip, Rheeder's back-flip drop-in (Pilgrim did it too), and Logan Peat's stoke meter after cleaning a solid run.
The top three were predictable, but well-earned, with Rheeder topping the box, followed by buttery-smooth Genon, and spin machine Rogatkin. Take a look at the visual aids to get a better feel for the finals action!

I like the looks of those girls too. Good job guys!!!
Quite a few wear it for special occasions like weddings or other festivities. Nothing grandma-ish about it.
