During the final stage of the 74th Tour de Pologne Szymon Godziek, Poland’s best freestyle mountain bike rider, performed a world first flip over the peloton rushing through Bukowina Tarzańska. Szymon switched from his mountain bike to a road bike in order to complete the jump in true style.

Okay that would have been crazy enough on a hardtail, let alone a fucking road bike!!! That is intense.

 What a nutter!

Crazy? Flipping in lycra - now that's off the hook Wink
  • 35 0
@railin: yeah, full roadie gear - lycra, road shoes clipped in, and roadie helmet with no visor. He was in full costume. Nice work!
  • 36 4
it appears to be a campagnolo, not an intense
  • 24 4
@sledMXer: he's on flats so it doesn't count, also he's not wearing glasses, and has no water bottles, he needs to do it again lol

@jaycubzz: another overhyped, snobbish Italian job made in China. Nothing beats Pinarello though... beware of their counterfeits, they actually may be better than the original

@WAKIdesigns: my favourite overhyped, snobbish italian job made in taiwan is Bianchi

because celeste

 @hamncheez: whats that?

@essfour: Road gap! Here come the cops--get yr pants back on. Lip tested by Swish Inc. No gas digger required.
  • 3 0
Serious question, what sort of road tires/pressure was he using that they didn't just explode
  • 2 0
That is the the biggest thing I've seen done on a road bike !!! Fu:c
  • 3 0
@essfour: Thank you! I instantly thought of Dave Watson
  • 4 0
@essfour: you think Dave is like Uncle Rico? If I only coulda stuck the landing. Coach should have put me in
  • 3 0
@essfour: seen it a million times but the best part that I never noticed before: he almost lost his pants on the crash and had to pull them up as he ran away. No wonder they caught him!

BTW everyone notice the streetsign at :26 with the inverted roadie?

I also say "Dausch!" when i stick it.

Lol none of them even looked up at him
  • 45 6
They're probably all sick and tired of people trying to jump bikes over them. Seems like a common occurrence these days.

  • 42 0
That was EPO! I mean DOPE! Whatever...
  • 36 1
Shout out to Dave Watson for the OG road race gap.
  • 5 1
All he needed was another foot or two and he would have nailed that jump Frown
  • 2 0
@jptothetree: this one is cool but the original was much better just for its total unexpectedness. He didn't even do a trial run, and that copper running after him! Never will Watson be bested!
  • 1 0
@jaame: Watson def takes the cake as you said, especially considering he didn't really have much of a landing. This one seems to have a hint of corporate taint to itSmile Still wicked watching a road bike flip over numerous roadies tho.
  • 2 0
@VPS13: absolutely. I'm not going to say contrived, but the rawness is what made Watson's just totally off the scale
  • 31 0
what??? I can't even jump a kilo of tortillas!!!

Very impressive but if only we could had seen just one more camera angle, like the look of contempt from one of the riders in the peloton.
  • 33 3
Sagan is there, I was surprised he didn't stop and try it himself.
  • 2 1
@WAKIdesigns: word on the street is that he's too busy being the new sparring partner of Conor McGregor

I think many are overlooking something pretty important here. Is Pologne pronounced the same as Bologne, but with a P?
  • 4 0
Indeed it is. Very good question.
  • 4 0
Tour de Pologne is french, Bologna is italian, so i would go with colon, more than bolognese or gnocchi.

I always wondered why they named it in french. I mean... tour de france, vuelta d'italia, etc and f*ckin' tour de pologne..
It shoud be "Wyścig dookoła Polski", but then everyone outside Poland, would be more likely to levitate spontaneously, than pronounce it properly.
  • 2 0
@lk3city: wait a sec, he's clearly talking about the French for Bologna, which is Bologne. Pronounced like Pologne, but more saucy.

Christ, we need this f*ckin race in MSA to get going...
