KHS Bicycles recently signed Logan Binggeli as the newest member of the KHS Racing Team. Binggeli, 18, has been racing competitively since 2006 and specializes in downhill, with great expertise in technical sections and ultra high-speed racing. As a KHS Racing team member, Binggeli adds strength and depth to the mountain bike team, according to Team Manager Quinton Spaulding.
I just had the good luck to have tested the KHS Lucky 7 for the last 2 weeks. I tested it out in Crowsnest Pass - the only place with good riding conditions in the Alberta Rockies at the end of November.
As a bike company KHS has been around since the mid 70’s. In recent years they have developed a line of DH and FR bikes. The DH has been available as a complete bike for 2 seasons. The new 2008 FR Lucky 7 is to be unveiled at this year’s Crankworx.
I used to sit there and listen to my friends talk about buying this big dollar part for their bike, or about the time they saw their own bone come jabbing out of their leg and think... How stupid are these guys? An expensive, dirty, dangerous hobby, with no tangible reward... on a damn pedal bike!
After just receiving a bunch of bikes from KHS here at C-Team headquarters - and after several cans of Boddingtons cream ale (and some minor arguments) - we got the new DH200 built up and headed out to the shore for some good old-fashioned playing in the dirt. Here are our first impressions of the bike.
