Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard about Twenty6 by now. Tyler started Twenty6 back in February of 2006. Every single component etched with the Twenty6 logo has been CNC’ed with tender loving care out of his home shop in Bozeman Montana. Twenty6 definitely has a reputation for making “jewelry like” aftermarket bike components and the Rallye pedal is no exception.

It's hard enough to make a living in the component market for cycling, however, trying to make a living on aftermarket component construction and sales is a whole 'nother ball game. The guys over at Twenty6 components are doing a pretty good job down in Montana, and we recently had a chance to test some of their famous Dualie levers.

The manufacturing industry for our sport is a cut throat business. Everyone is trying to make their product that much lighter, that much more unique, but not that much more expensive. The cost to manufacture goods has risen so much in the past it amazes me that these companies are still on the grind to create the lightest, most unique and functional parts for your bike, and they are succeeding. Recently we got the new Twenty6 F1 stem, along with the Straitline Ultra stem, so let's take a side by side look at them.
