Nicolas Vouilloz (Lapierre) will be attending this year's Urge Cabo Verde Event at the end of January, 2011. He'll be joining the ever growing roster of international stars.
On Sunday, October the 17th, the Urge training Camp, directed by Sabrina Jonnier and Fabien Barel, took place in the Golf of Saint-tropez. Mountain biking, Trail running, Kayaking, Walking, the week-end was full of different sessions, under the sunny weather of south of France. 20 riders, coming from 9 countries, all wanting a chance to participate in Urge: Cabo Verde.

For those of you who don't pick up any European mags then you wouldn't have known about the Fabien Barrel's invitational Urge challenge. For this year's event, it took place in Nepal, one of the most scenic and breathtaking zones on the planet and I was fortunate to be able to attend this wicked adventure. It was a trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend the trip to anyone.

Mark Weir is joining a select group of the world’s best mountain bikers in a race down Mt. Kenya this February. The event, named Urge Kenya, is being organized by two-time downhill world champion Fabien Barel and Fred Glo of Tribe Sports Group. Only ten athletes will be racing this spectacular, ultra-endurance downhill event and all proceeds will be donated to ACORD, an international alliance working to promote social justice throughout Africa.
