Lucky enough to be in Whistler this week.Rode the chair with a member of the trail crew today. Thank you for making the trails awesome. All health care workers, thank you for making the bigger world awesome.May be 2 glasses of wine and pain killers speaking, but thank you to all the other bikers for making life awesome.. Cheers!

I was just looking at my pics from the Return to Earth 30 Day challenge from a few years ago. It’d be awesome to have another event like that where we can log heaps of local rides for the shot at some swag - I can’t get to BC this season.

On another note, it states "Bike Park pros who collect all nine badges will receive nine entries into the competition"

Yet there are people who have over 20-30 badges on the leader board. I was not aware we could earn each badge more than once as the wording makes it seem the most entries you could earn is 9.

It’d be cool if you actually reliably got credit towards badges when you rode trails, sometimes it works as it should others not so much.

Its really easy to manually add a trail if it doesn't show up in your log.

What's totally cool about the contest is that it is for those people! Whistler (and the broader Sea to Sky) is a real community with health care workers that have been working ceaselessly to manage COVID; hospitality workers that have been pulling double and triple shifts to keep local businesses open and viable during a rough period; trades workers that are crushing it trying to keep up with demand and so on. And guess what lots of them are here for the lifestyle and they ride park. So they can take that season pass or get a fall pass and get in a few more laps and maybe win some cool stuff. Or maybe it will be somebody from one of the other groups of people that you disparage. Either way - cool contest.

Wow!! I am surprised you have the time to post 3 times when you are sitting on your self righteous pedestal patting yourself on the back. You should get your facts straight before before you open your mouth. I am in health care and for the record the CDC is only reporting non vaccinated people with covid in the hospital. They are not reporting the people in the hospitals who have been vaccinated cause it doesn’t fit their narrative. I am vaccinated and treat every patient with care and love. I see co workers treating unvaccinated people unkind and that’s not fair. The hospital is full of people daily who are dying of heart disease due to poor diet, smoking, and alcohol (20 million world wide every year). No one is closing fast food chains and emptying processed food off our grocery isles. Just because you believe something doesn’t make you right. Happy trails.

@james410: I call BS on you statement about the CDC. I am sure the numbers are published independently from each state. No way they would all do that to cover something up. Also, how come the number is the around 90%? Are they too stupid to count? Also, these 90% are consistent around the world. Again, all are in some major conspiracy? Instead of insisting that the government wants us mortals to fight to stay in power, ever thought that the sources of you FB nonsense wants to destabilise us by misinformation? You can claim the media is all in it for as much as you want, but there was a massive media debate about the size of a damn crowd. Don’t you think this all here would be a bit more important to discuss?

I guess I should know now that this website is for first world enjoyment and I shouldn’t get angry at it for creating first world contests however it’s irritating, nonetheless
