Jordie and a lot of the YT Mob look like guys that came from a prison program created to rehab criminals using bicycles to distract them from a life of crime.
  • 17 0
Perfect. I was literally driving around the hills where I grew up recently mentally planning how I could convince the director of one of PA's alternative correctional facilities (bootcamp) that part of the physical labor should be trail building.

Now I can show some role models! :-)
  • 18 1
Jordie might look hardcore but he is only on the bike. Super nice and kind person! Not quite a criminal!
  • 3 0
@MarcusBrody: Hey here in Canberra, Australia we have some people doing that too!
  • 5 2
@max2max: So the moral of the story is you can look like whatever you want - but as long as you're a nice person - society places preconceptions on all of us which are not always true. Look at Trump, He IS a criminal but wears a suit.
  • 1 0
@max2max: i agree , first time i met him 2014 at the first Aggy's Reunion i got scared of his looks haha..after the event we all had beers and went to the Bar..he's a good fella and a gnarly Rider!

How about a "Commencal SRAM free" edition?
  • 7 1
 That would be awesome!
  • 4 1
This is so epic. Alexa, help me hide the body.

When I watch Ryan Leech's videos I get the impression he is quite possibly the the kindest, most patient person alive.
  • 61 2
For sure - he even let Waki do the artwork
  • 4 0
He's just like that in real life too.
  • 2 0
So calm, but shreds pretty good too
  • 1 0
 @endlessblockades: haaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahhahaha
  • 10 1
@sarahmoore - tech briefing implies that there's a bunch of information about tech. Wouldn't this be more of a product roundup/showcase?
  • 8 0
Still no XTR 12 speed from their June 2018 release?
  • 3 0
Nah, in typical shimano fashion it'll be available stateside some time between now and mapril (march/april)
  • 3 0
Worldwide Cyclery is selling it. Says special order 5-14 days. Used on eBay already. #googlefu

Musk will have built and reused a reusable space rocket in the time it's taken for XTR to come to market...because quality? (Fwiw quality doesn't take extreme time, it's all about the talent and effectiveness of the product development life cycle/supply chain control. It's not about making 5000 prototypes and testing them forever. Especially when someone else already did it).
  • 7 2
@Svinyard: So when's your 12 speed coming out?
  • 2 0
@Eholm522: oh, so right about the time Fox releases their 2020 stuff?
  • 5 1
"Commencal and SRAM celebrate years of working and winning together with this beauty" so they've already been working and winning with that bike? Or did you mean "Commencal and SRAM celebrate, with this beauty, years of working and winning together" ?
  • 6 0
 Nice mugshot there Jordie..
  • 3 0
I have an idea for a multi-component helmet, but its only single use. Come to think of it it's just a normal helmet that you crash in
  • 6 1
Those kids' helmets are strapped on so loose as to be useless.
  • 8 4
Always one guy in the crowd. Homie, it’s not real life. Relax, just a photo.
  • 6 5
...and what's with the family hipster outfits?
  • 4 2
Even for a photo op, they should always practice proper use of helmet. This is just asking for an E-bike cause-i've fallen-and-can't-get-up-moment! Or well the helmet did't help, I'd just sue the Park and the Manufacturer!
  • 4 1
@drivereight: or maybe your just overthinking what other people do with their time because you’re stuck behind a screen? I have 2 wee boys and just getting them out to a trail is a huge effort... the details matter but not for stock photography
  • 3 1
Dang, lmao. everyone jealous about a couple of kids riding better than they do. hands off the brakes, looking ahead, chargin...and complaining about kids wearing flannel and skinny jeans? don't spend much time around mtb culture do you.
  • 2 0
@thatshowiroll: flannel and jeans is hipster? i better tell my 65 year old dad he's been dressing like a hipster for 30 years.
  • 4 0
My dropper trigger is the Reverb Stealth. Just the thought of that post irritates me to no end
  • 1 0
I did the Bike Yolk DeHy Kit and I love the result. Absolutely worth the $.
  • 3 0
Nothing says "I ride mountain bikes" quit like complaining about mountain bikes, mountain bike clothing, mountain bike gear, mountain bike riders, mountain bike reviews......
  • 3 0
I just saw green flannel shirts and purple ano, '94 was a good year.
  • 4 4
Super-Lame riding apparel.. Denim, Lumber-Jack shirts, and no gloves? Maybe if you are just riding to 7-11 for a slurpee and chips.
  • 3 0
nothing says I ride mountain bikes like a flannel shirt
  • 1 0
 The Identiti is cool looking
  • 1 1
