Bruh, is your trucker cap's brim even flat? We all threw our all-mountain bikes out with the trash years ago.

I assume the “Unic” crew was looking for a play on the word Unique. . . But all I can see when I see that spelling is “Eunuch.”

 Terrible name for a brand.

Yeah.... could have thought that one out better.

Nino is on 2.4 with foam insert for xc. 2.15 is more of a gravel size these days
  • 5 0
And thats the difference between industry leaders and the other companies trying to keep up.

 A maxxis 2.4 is just everyone’s 2.25...

That diamondback is the best looking Santa Cruz on the page. Does sexy. I mean man, what a lovely nomad that mission is. DB is making a pretty lineup these days. Got some Ibis in there too.

I thought it looked like a nukeproof mega..but now that you mention SC...

Hmm and I thought that 'looks like a session' kind of comments hype was a thing of the past

My thoughs exactly. SC layout but Ibis curves. Very pleasing to look at, well done!

@fitjoani: you are right, and I like DB. I had a mission a while ago.

That Alchemy is as ugly as satan's genital warts. Please remove it's picture off your website before it pops up somewhere and I vomit all over my desk...

 You speak the truth sir

Some design manager was really drunk to give this abomination a green light to go to production

That diamond back is a thing of beauty. Never thought I’d say that.

Crazy huh! Saracen made it back from the abyss.. maybe DB are coming too.

56mm straight headtubes?! Great idea. Fits +/- 10mm reach adjustable headsets. The future, tuneable reach

$2850 for a steel hardtail frame, has the world gone mad?
  • 1 0
 Its artisan
  • 1 0
I used to ride complete bmx builds of 4130 chromo that never cost me more than $500 per bike... $350 per frame. Madness!
  • 1 0
While this may receive a lot of negative criticism I find it endearing when bike designers don’t go to great lengths to try a fit a water bottle on the top side of the down tube - aka that DB looks sick and if it’s comparable ‘big bike’ to how good a trail bike the release is it ought to shred #myhydrationpackfitsalotofshitandhelpprotectmyback

Buyer Beware, Diamondback only provides spare parts support for a few years. If you break something on this bike, you may be out of luck. From DB-Raleigh corporate to me trying to get a spare derailleur hanger for my 2015 DB8:

"We have had most of our bikes for years and years with parts and support, like our Release and Mission lines. The DB8 was more of a one off at the time and parts may be found online used."

$$$ for "high end XC" sneakers/shoes, ehhh!
Would you care for some Grey Poupon Sir?

Can’t wait to finish work and go for a thrash on my downcountry all-mountain enduro mullet.
  • 2 0
Anyone else expecting the new Enduro to drop any minute? I’m betting August sometime.
  • 2 0
Sklar. Yes. That is the sound I would make when I see something nice that I can't afford...
  • 1 0
That Ghost only records in 30 fps??? No point if the use is for action sports. You need 60 fps min to catch those wicked Friday Fails in slow-mo.
