That Trail Boss video game is the best $3.99 bike product I have purchased in a long time. The previous games of Pumped BMX were so fun but this version with transfers, berms, skids and crazy long lines adds to the fun level.

I just wish they had maps/levels of real trails. I never be able to ride Posh or Woodyard but it would be pretty rad to pretend to ;D

might be the first game i ever pay for.
  • 2 1
Some slope courses/bikes would be worth an in app purchase too...
  • 2 0
 This game is my jam.
  • 4 0
I bought it and LOVED it. I just finally beat it 100% yesterday. The level of difficulty is just perfect that it keeps you struggling but progressing!
  • 1 0
@marseer: damn! I just have a couple of more things to do to finish it but they have been beauts! That 4 second skid is killing me!!
  • 2 0
@keatonistheguy: I feel like if they made more levels and charged for them it would be a good model to keep them coming. I'd skip a coffee one day to get some new courses.

And Fridays productivity level just went to zero...

Game's as hard as nails :'(

I can't speak for Woodyard, but if you're ever in northeastern PA, it's very much worth stopping by Posh and Catty. They've done a lot of work in recent years adding more beginner friendly lines, and are pretty chill about new people stopping in. Just offer to help tarp/watter, and ideally hit up the locals on insta or something before you show up to make sure they will be around when you get there!
Even if you don't ride anything they're both amazing places to see in person!
  • 1 0
@gibspaulding: Thanks - I've been to Catty for the Halloween Jam's. Lots of fun but a little stressful trying to figure lines with a bunch of people riding. The place is amazing tho! My buddy just hit up Posh for the high air contest and ran some lines - he said that place is crazy rad! If I ever get enough time I'll make it back out there - trying to finish some lines at the local trail spot!

 Fixed!

They're using the cat/laser pointer method for linking today. Luckily, that's also available for the low low price of $2999-4299. www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-ibis-ripmo-af.html

 9point8... 2 plus years and it’s been phenomenal! @freerider11:
  • 1 0
@freerider11: Three years later on a KS Lev Integra that hasn't been rebuilt in that time. Yep, can say it's a pretty good post. Wasn't a fan of the stock lever, but the puppertoof one is just fine.
  • 1 0
@stormracing: Yes, my 9Point8 has been solid for a year now too. But, I know it will need seals eventually when it starts losing air. Happens to all of them. Fortunately they make it relatively painless to do with a great instruction video and readily available parts.

@sherbet: Good to hear! My very first dropper almost 10 years ago was a KS i950r. It was actually pretty good but sticky and it did not like bad weather at all (mud/snow/ice). No experience with KS since.
  • 1 0
Yes, agreed. Mine has needed seals once after a super horrendously muddy ride! But other than that it’s been a freaking rad dropped post @freerider11:

The Hope HB130 is amazing - tested the Ohlins shock version and it was incredible. Selling my children to fund one

this is lunacy.
  • 1 0
That Race Face dropper post lever looks just every bit like a rebranded Brand-X Ascend v1. The post also seems to be.
  • 1 0
Cotic bikes are simply beautiful, sexy, fun, friendly aggressive, and made out of steel. HOPE I would get a COTIC once Smile

Pinkbike editor didn't remove her gloves before typing html!!!
  • 1 0
 Tell her about copy paste.
  • 4 1
Why would anybody need to click that link though? This is a mountain bike website, not moto.
  • 2 1
The dissector is fake news. Not available for sale anywhere.
  • 1 0
@JediJiJi: But like @jwrendenver said, they're not available to buy, on the Maxxis site or elsewhere...
Worldwide had some for a bit, but are sold out. The ol' Google isn't turning up anyone who actually has these for sale. Would love to try one.
  • 1 0
26 is a new tech, innovation of the year right there!!
  • 11 11
Ummm...is the opt out of ebike news feature broken?
  • 12 15
You'd rather miss 19 normal MTB articles just because of 2 that you don't like? Grow a pair, E-MTBs are here to stay, so better get used to it. Don't like it? Don't buy one, simple as that. But don't put down others because you don't like people being able to climb up hills easier.

@matt-15: well said. what a bandwagon thing to wine about.
  • 1 1
There's... a motor in a list of a dozen other things. And Magura's announcement, but that isn't really e-bike news.
  • 2 4
The knollys tankians and what is the process w putting the pivot on the seat stay?
