The Orange Five just begs to be ridden. Check out Orange Dirt World Team rider Phil Atwill give her a good rippin’ down in the South of England as he obliterates corners, hucks everything in sight and shreds the early summer dust.

Scrub-a-dub. Phil gets low and wild on a jump you've probably seen before in the dirt jump fest that is the Pure Darkness film.

Loam tracks, dirt jumps, the south of England has it all (bar mountains), and Phil gladly nails the 5 inch travel bike through everything at mach 10 unscathed. He then decided to top it off by going upside down.. that flippin’ five, eh!

Pump that shock up and lean back!

The next round of the EWS is rolling around in a few week's time over in Ireland, Phil is just giving the competitors a taste of how he’s going to approach the stages. Full throttle and sideways.

sick riding....thank you for making an edit without any slow motion or BS filler.

rant:
so sick of watching slow motion berm roosts...show them at full speed. sick of foliage shots. sick of lifestyle shots, I don't care if you drink coffee or had steak for dinner. Show mountain biking.... at full speed....pinned.

that is all.

The DUDE flat out RIPS !!!!

You guys across the pond sure know how to ride on the edge and get friggin loose. I was gona say almost exactly what you said whatyousaid haha. There have been whole videos in slow mo on here recently. I am no filmer, but if your whole video is slow mo you probably didn't get enough footage. I have watched a lot of other "action sport" videos and no other sport abuses slow mo more than mtb.
  • + 5
agreed, killer video. not only was he going at crazy speeds through everything, (without lots of slo mo) he was also just being rowdy and having fun. and that backflip tho!
  • + 5
 That was rowdy! Awesome video.
  • + 7
 Cheers boys, appreciate it!

'something in the water' ...must be a coincidence that the UK has fast riders and a lot of rain?
  • + 23
Your riders are fast because they're nutters! And that's good!
  • + 4
speaking of waters....did you all catch a glimpse of his toilet seat cover?!? Get some cleaner up in there!!!
  • + 4
that was the stoke he couldn't contain while looking at the mag
  • + 4
This is how I look when I ride.. In my head, obviously.. Wish I could be that pinned! Phil makes the guys on downhill bikes in some edits that aren't from the UK look lame! UK riders are the best in the world because of the amazing network of trails around the UK. Oh, and you learn to ride in the wet.

I was just going to say, that had an awesome old school feel to it and reminded me of the old VHS tapes from the late 90s! Cracking video. Loose, rowdy and fun.
  • + 3
The answer is that the Brits ride like the soundtrack to the video. Pinned sound track, pinned riding. Good stuff.
  • + 1
Awesome vid.The EWS Ireland location is my local woods! Can't wait to see the pros racing there ripping it! Weather is awful ATM,you can't attack any of the EWS trails sideways they're too gnarly, good luck to them all!
  • + 1
I've already watched this 5 times, think I'll watch it again! I ride these trails every weekend and I never see anyone hit them like that!! ...and people say there is no good trails in the South of England :-)
  • + 4
