Nice play on the quote from one of the best video segments ever.
  • + 6
@mikeandnatalie: Literally the best segment ever.

Says to girlfriend, I love bikes. Back in a minute. Jumps on bike to get coffee for 2.
  • + 9
OMG they all brought the same bike! How embarrassing!
  • + 1
 @ViceGrips: and hydration packs!
  • + 11
A measure of a good vid, it's over and you want more... just love the scenery, the trails, riding that is in the realms of most of us... well done !

That last drone shot was so sick

Now that's how you sell bikes, scott was never in conversation with my friends if they ask me for recommendations, now the genius has become part of my top five bikes, also, the black frame version is much prettier,
  • + 6
The top of the line all black/stealth version of the Genius is also 25.5lbs which is insane!

I'm sure they make great bikes but I feel like they need to work on their branding (if that's even the word i am looking for)? Just the name "Scott" for a mountain bike company doesn't sounds right... like "Scott Genius" sounds like it could be a new brand of accounting software or something. Just psychologically I would much rather buy a "Rocky Mountain Slayer" than a "Scott Genius".

Funny thing is that this vid makes me develop a sympathy for the brand, but it doesn't really make me buy their bike. Instead it just inspires me to ride whatever I have because it is all in the trails, scenery, buddies and skills. The specific bike really takes a backseat. And for that, I like that brand.

Good on you guys for facilitating such a cool trip for these guys. I get it was an ad, but cool none the less! I'll put my hat in the ring of average joe ambassadors...haha

That intro to Braelorne in particular was well-written

I really like the riding areas and such but please STOP skidding and damaging the trails. It is unnecessary. Yes, it looks "cool" but when we're trying to keep trails open to mtn biking (especially the Chilcotins), it does not help that you skid the trails into destruction. Also roosting the corners. I hope you go back and repair the trails after your shoots. It really is not cool to damage trails just for the hell of it.
  • + 9
you sound fun to ride with
  • + 18
@conor-mce: Actually, I am fun to ride with but I do also do a ton of trail repair so I earn my way. No harm in these things but do some trail maintenance to help the crews that provide us with these awesome tracks.
  • + 12
@MMOF: I'm pretty sensitive to videos of people schralping the Chilcotin, and have complained about it before, but honestly this video seemed pretty good. The riding in the Chilcotin segment did seem like anything excessive or damaging, and even the riding that was outside the park was pretty reasonable - it's hard to complain about people doing a little drifting in Della!

How I see it is feel free to roost as long as show up to the next build day
  • + 8
scott really has come arond with these videos! Great incoporation of their brand ambassadors in a relatable scenario Smile
  • + 4
Pure soul food right there!! On most of those climbs I would probably have a hard time staying on the trail. The views would distract me. Around here in NC most of the time your looking at trees. Still beautiful just not as vast.
  • + 7
The only thing wrong with this is the beer selection....
  • + 1
no kidding and beer is almost as important as bikes
  • + 3
I'm a big fan of the riding past Whistler. Looks so cool to see huge peaks in more of a desert type environment. Such a cool zone.
  • + 5
Anybody know what song that was?
  • + 2
@SCOTT-Sports This video was awesome. Please send me a 2018 Scott Genius 700 so I can make videos and promote the brand! haha

If only I could be an ambassador but alas I am no Brendog and co. *sniffle*
