 Wow, you obviously never met the guy. He's one of the coolest guys in the cycling industry with an extreme passion for cycling. He pushes street riding and slopestyle creativity to a whole new level that has never been seen before. He's not begging for money, neither is he out for money. He purely cares about cycling and is making things that were considered impossible a reality. He pushes our sport more than any DH / enduro racer out there. Big props to Matt for being awesome and can't wait what unreal projects he will blow our minds with in the future.


PS: please note that the maximum that professional mtb street riders usually achieve with sponsorships is free bikes, parts and protection. I don't think there is a single MTB street rider at the moment who can make a full time living off riding street. Can't compare his situation to for example professional downhill racers, who make $50.000 to $200.000 per racing year (not including the rumors that Gwinn's sponsorship deal for this year is worth $500.000).
