Migrating from sparkling interior waters to the Kamloops Bike Ranch comes The River Beaver Classic this April 21st through 23rd. An exciting new event, unique in every aspect, The River Beaver Classic aims to ensure that riders will begin this spring season DAMN stoked!
The Kamloops Bike Ranch is a world-renowned playground, home to the raddest trails and features of any public bike park on the planet. It's remarkable to imagine that we've never hosted a festival at this venue. But the River Beaver Classic will address the lack of Bike Ranch events by dropping in as a multi-disciplinary festival, where all riders are welcome to participate as we celebrate our scene and the beginning of another great season.
Tentative Even Schedule...Specialized Dirt Jump Jam and Slopestyle ContestOn the evening of Friday, April 21st, dirt jump riders are invited to take part in a laid back, jam format session supported by our friends at Specialized Bicycle Canada. This session will take place across all of the many jump lines featured in the Lower Corral area of the Ranch, so riders of any skill level are invited to join in the fun. But for any riders who are looking to take on the Saturday morning Slopestyle (held on the Fist Full Of Dollars line) they will need to qualify through judged laps on Big Set, the largest 4 hit line on the far left of the park.
Kona Dual SlalomIn the afternoon after Slopestyle, on Saturday, April 22nd, our friends at Kona will be hosting a dual slalom race on the fast paced track right next to the dirt jumps.
Pedalnpint.com Pumptrack ChallengeHot on the heels of Slopestyle and Dual Slalom, riders are invited to turn up the volume and pump the night away while
PedalnPint.com hosts the Pump Track Challenge that is sure to be the party of the season.
Giant Downhill Race To cap off the weekend, racers can take on the clock during the River Beaver Classic Downhill presented by Giant on Sunday, April 23rd.
And as if all these events weren't rad enough, riders at The River Beaver Classic can also look forward to beer gardens presented by our friends at
Red Collar Brewing and bike demos from both Giant and Specialized Bicycles. These events are in conjunction with the Kamloops Legacy Games DH Race, and all proceeds from the River Beaver Classic will be donated to the Kamloops Bike Ranch.
