THE PINKBIKE RACING PODCAST // EPISODE 5 - LENZERHEIDE WORLD CUP DH POST-RACE WRAP-UP PODCAST July 10th, 2022
Henry Quinney and Ben Cathro take you behind the scenes at the Lenzerheide World Cup race.
Ben Cathro and I sit down to talk about all the things that happened during our racing week - as well as give the scoop about Pinkbike Racing's Lenzerheide World Cup.
Not sure there is much of anything I'm loving more than Pinkbike Racing right now, as much for what you're doing as the content, which is another level for Pinkbike. Hearing about Leona's situation and how you're able to help I'm sure will mean the world to her, and what an environment to come in to! The progress of the riders is something to be really proud of - as much as I am looking forward to season 3 of the other, this is the real Pinkbike Academy! This team and Wyn with what he does, is what's right with sport. Keep it up.
Maybe just for the Brits: Mustache. Desire to sell things out of the back door. Is Henry trying to turn into Boycie?
Side request, if you can make it happen for some of the team to get on The Downtime Podcast, that would be superb - Chris will ask things you wouldn't think of yourselves. Maybe and end of season panel?
@henryquinney I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the rumours that the DH field will be cut to 30 next year. Also the team registration fee is going up from $3000 to $20,000. Are you confident Robin will stump up the extra $17,000 to keep Pinkbike Racing alive when it's going to be even harder for riders to qualify next year? I've also heard Loic arranged a meeting regarding setting up a rider's union (I've also heard about something similar for team managers) to voice concerns about proposed changes. Any comment?
I am loving everything about the Pinkbike Racing podcasts and the documentary. Getting this insight into the sport really makes watching the race more enjoyable. Plus Henry's facial hair.... just epic.
I'm concerned that the PInkbike master plan to see how far they can push Cathro before he breaks is taking too long. Can you get him to moderate the comments section here in his spare time?
