Martin's win and a 3rd for Noga Korem complete a great weekend for Team GT
I'm kind of interested, where do Martin and Aneke spend most of their riding time? Something tells me that they don't really live in the flat Belgium/Holland...
Aneke isn't with GT anymore, it's Noga Korem from not so mountainous Israel.
It is mostly hills in the Northern part where she lives and trains most of the year. So no big mountains or wet weather training here in Israel. But I guess talent, dedication and lots of hard work pays in the end.
@lost99: I know Noga in person, and all the trails we used to have in IL. They really tame if you compare them to real mountains. I guess what really bumped her level is trying to get as much time in the French Alps as possible.
Martin simply past the most of the time here in Belgium, Liège. he lives in Neupré. near from me. of course he spend time in finale or malaga but he want and he loves to ride here. near of his Family. it's important for him. Martin is a guys who don't need to ultra-train his skills, he's simply a... ultra talented athlete, using lines that no one takes, he's very adaptative and very fit too.
