When and Where We Ride:

Each day, riders meet in the big 7000 sq ft tent in Lot 2 across from the Village previous to the opening. When the Thinkbike Expo opens paid participants can choose a bike, get it set up and go for a ride either with a group or on their own.

Thinkbike Whistler allows riders to test the equipment escorted by seasoned guides from Whistler Bike Guide, Arbutus Routes, and Bear Back Biking. These 3 leading guiding companies in the Sea to Sky Region will take you on incredible trails suited to your ability. Tours will leave each day at 10 am and 1 pm from the Thinkbike Whistler tent located in Lot 2 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with only a 10 am going out Sunday when we wrap up at 2 pm.

Whistler Bike Park- Thursday, June 1, Friday, June 2.

Thinkbike Whistler has also partnered with Whistler Bike Park to provide 3 lift accessed rides for all participants on Thursday and Friday. We did this as the lifts and the line ups are too big on Saturday and Sunday due to the high demand. All other programs are discounted 40% for all Thinkbike Whistler participants including DFX Camps for kids on Saturday and Sunday.

Keeping You Fueled and Fresh

Thinkbike Whistler will also feature fresh lunch each day on site along with fresh beverages supplied by Coast Mountain Brewing for apres at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There will also be trail snacks provided by Planet Foods. Honey Stinger and Little Big Shots will be available for on trail nutrition in the Thinkbike Whistler Tent.

Community-Celebrating Our Mountain Bike History

Thinkbike Whistler is also partnering with the Whistler Museum to present “Our Dirty History” on Friday, June 2 at the Museum. Great talks and interaction with some of Whistler’s living history providing storytelling and imagery from the early days of rigid forks and hardtails.

On Saturday night we present “Talk Dirty To Me” with infamous trail-builder tails of how they got her done. Proving that asking for forgiveness is easier than getting permission helped create this place we will discuss how the environment has changed and the amount of energy and resources needed to keep it alive has grown exponentially.

Yes, we took over the event locally and are looking to work to promote local companies and culture. We still love Outerbike but Whistler and Moab are different in a good way.

@goytay: thanks we think so. Bike Park changes everything. No need for all the vans and trucks shuttling folks all over.
