Fantastic. What a rad ambassador for the sport. There is something so genuine in her presentation that I really appreciate. She is also a great representative of the Kootenay lifestyle and offers a glimpse into a way of living that is regionally sought out and draws a lot of people to the West Kootenays. Not that many can do it as well as her. Awesome.
OMG that view at 3:40 - anyone knows on what mountain this was shot?? So nice to see women riding and showing our sport in their own way. Will show this to my 8 years old daughter when she is back from school tonight so that she knows that she may become a better rider than her older brothers and her dad if she wants to.
I don't know why Americans think they can just go to any country and get a job. Canada is one of the hardest countries to gain legal entry to. The only reason I managed to get contracts in Canada and US is because I hold two masters degrees plus 4 years in military engineering.
Depends on what kind of engineer you are? Lots of places are doing a fly in fly out schedule these days, I'm in Fernie, my next door neighbor is a geologist in fort mac, there are 4 coal mines in fernie, all have engineering departments. you can make it work, just be patient and be ready to roll when the opportunity comes
I was lucky enough to visit Revelstoke in the winter 2 years ago, where the locals were super inviting, and the ski area staff actually gave us free passes to ski on a day with fresh snow! Then I was lucky enough to spend a week there this past summer while the Heli race was going on. Revelstoke is a dirtbag's paradise, and I think I could probably permanently live in a few spots we found to park our van and nobody would notice!
Revy is in very close competition with Whistler for my favorite place in the world. The riding is great, the scenery is freaking amazing, and there are WAY LESS PEOPLE everywhere. You actually feel like you're really remote almost everywhere you go out there. If you haven't been, please do yourself a favor and go visit for 4-5 days and enjoy the excellent trails they have. Lost Boys was my favorite, and Martha Creek DH was my second favorite.
I love our sport/hobby!!!!! They say that enduro racing is just timing what we would normally be doing out with our buddies, but this video IS mountain biking. Albeit with a chopper and great sponsorship. Nonetheless, awesome work and it makes me want to ride.
Really didnt know much about Revelstoke when we stopped in on our way to Banff after going to Whistler. Holy crap, what a treat. Squamish and whistler have to be the two coolest mountain towns ever.
If there are two countries I would love to live in, it would be Canada or Australia. I was in Montreal 2 years ago and was just amazed at how many beautiful women I saw. Also in Whistler the women are gorgeous, fit and healthy. And then I flew to Detroit USA and, umm..... yeah, no thanks lol Actually it was more like "get me the hell out of here!"
You need to come back to visit the US if your image of the country is based on Detroit. You also need to re-evaluate your priorities if your basis for living somewhere is based on beautiful women.
@jojotherider1977: Beautiful women is what life is all about! It's why I choose to live the single life. As for America, watching the news now about yet another shooting somewhere in New Mexico. Hard to respect a nation which chose Trump as there leader.
@Rocky-Urban: I'm pretty sure the down votes are mostly because you come across too black and white in your comments, and are lumping all Americans together into one prejudice/assumption. Hundreds of millions of us "Yanks" love Canada, and did not vote for Trump (myself included).
If I wasn't 40 and married, with a kid on the way and living in the United States and ran into Casey somewhere and I talked to her and she talked to me and she thought I was marginally cool and...........

When I grow up, I want to be as cool as Casey Brown
Logical Me: Hell, if my life was half as nice as this, it would still be awesome!!
