 AND BERNARD WINS THE OVERALLLL!!!!!!!
  • 53 4
3 seconds up, I think he took the last race personally!
  • 72 4
 The sports fans are ecstatic!!
  • 48 5
Bernard has unlocked the DH code of speed.
  • 12 3
 Nature is healing
  • 21 3
 Channel the inner Hardline Kerr!
  • 32 3
@neimbc: confidence makes great things... I have been thinking he has advantage/edge on really technical tracks where some rides struggle with traction limits, not in some flat out tracks.. but I really hope he smokes the field and unlocks beast mode+confidence+luck this end of the season... Bernie you are the man!!!
  • 12 0
If discovery came out and said timed training counted for points, I think we would all suddenly be a little more ok with the takeover.
  • 22 0
 He beat the juniors too!
  • 1 0
@Lagr1980: His team is going pretty well all round, Eddie and Matt have had great results recently too.
  • 92 3
I want Bernie to win one so bad...but Finn taking his first WC win on home soil would be some moment.
  • 17 2
I'm guessing Greg Minnaar will be hard to beat this weekend on such a long and physical track!
  • 12 0
@jptothetree: I think this tracks suits Greg really well. But Amaury's form this year is ridiculous, Kerr is hungry and with serious momentum and confidence, and Finn will no doubt push hard for a win on home soil. Hoping for a tight race!
  • 5 0
@IsaacWislon82: I'm definitely half-expecting Amaury to snatch the win again. Dude is just on another level right now!! I just think Greg will do really well because the strategy required to do well here.
  • 2 0
@jptothetree: I wonder how hard Amaury will push since he pretty much has the overall wrapped up?? My roster locked before I could change my team(friggin busy at work) so I'm rooting for Amaury and Finn again this weekend!
  • 59 4
Absolutely gutted for Camille Balanche. Can't believe she is out. Heal up fast!
  • 11 4
@skintightleather: she posted an insta story showing a crash and a broken collarbone xray
  • 9 4
@skintightleather: According to her instagram she crashed and broke her collarbone.
  • 6 4
@Istillneedstabilisers: oh man, gutted for her
  • 11 4
Happened where I was watching. Awkward crash. It’s a spot where riders were pulling over in practice, looked like was stopping and got hung up on some rocks and went otb
  • 5 4
@Istillneedstabilisers: holy shit there goes the overall
  • 14 0
Ahhh that's awful, gutted for her. It's been so great to watch all her success this year, wishing her a speedy recovery.

@Lagr1980 she's currently up by 230 points over Myriam, and Val di Sole isn't for another month. It's not completely out of the question that she could race in Val di Sole and still take the overall even if Myriam wins MSA. That's a bit of a spicy turnaround time for a collarbone but for the last race of the season who knows, might be worth the risk ...

Whatever happens, she's already had a hell of a lot to be proud of this season.

why are all the comments saying what happened downvoted...

 @adrennan: b/c Discovery
  • 10 0
@jgoldfield: Val Di Sole with an healing collarbone sounds like a nightmare to be honest
  • 6 0
@adrennan: because people are dipshits and live in a false reality

I really hope Bernard can follow up his 2nd place with a win this weekend. He seems like such a humble and nice guy.
  • 12 6
somebody just downvoting shit. .Humble and nice and a monster bike rider !!!!
  • 3 1
@Lagr1980: People love beef. Cut out the beef, people. The planet will thank you for it.

Would love to see Finn his first Elite DH race, in Canada. Crowd would go nuts.
  • 34 0
It feels like it's going to be Kerr vs Finn for their first WC win.. then Pierron will swoop in.
  • 7 0
@HelterSeltzer: either of them winning would be awesome in my book. Both seem to be great guys and so skilled
  • 6 0
@HelterSeltzer: Only if he gets the daily Sudoku

  • 14 3
Congrats Bernard and to the GOAT too!
  • 8 2
Feels like if they did blind DH racing or just one track walk and race, Bernard would never lose.
  • 5 0
That'd be a great format, maybe pedel up and do a bunch of different tracks. Lets call it Staminero
  • 2 0
 @inside-plus:

Staminero bikes coming 2023
  • 7 4
Wow, Goldstone going through the time warp to deliver a time 5 minutes slower, yet is faster than the rest of the Juniors field. JK, assuming it is a typo and the first number was supposed to be a 4 instead of a 9
  • 4 4
Looks like Pheobe's time was accidentally transposed for Jackson and Lacklan as well
  • 1 3
 Lachlan*
  • 2 4
As they say, sometimes the tortoise wins.
  • 10 3
 Go get it Bernard!!
  • 4 0
After missing out on the top step by 0.4 seconds last weekend in Snowshoe, it would be awesome to see Bernard Kerr go one better this weekend.
“Sports fans going wild”
  • 7 3
Flats are going to play a role this weekend. Lots riders getting them
  • 9 12
 Flat pedals win medals!
  • 8 2
 @mbl77: flat tires.
  • 5 0
 @mbl77: Moustaches > flat pedals
  • 1 4
@mbl77: They don't really though, when's the last time somebody won a race on flats?
  • 3 0
@rarerider: Gee Atherton in Cairns perhaps? Borrowed shoes.
  • 1 0
@rarerider: How long has he been riding Enduro now?
  • 2 0
 @paulskibum:

That race was Cairns 2014, Sam Hill also won a couple of races on flats that year too (Mont Sainte Anne and Meribel). So I think Sam at Meribel 2014 would be the last win on flats!
  • 3 0
@rarerider: Sam hill won 3 enduro world seires in a row mate. 17,18.19. And won Mont St. Anne and Meribel in 2014.
  • 3 0
@brownies: Between Hill and Kovarik, flats have won 6 times at Mont St. Anne.
  • 2 1
@inside-plus: What's the win count for clipless pedals?
  • 3 0
I see mr Kerr wants that W really bad
  • 4 1
 Go on BK lad!
  • 3 0
 Let’s go Bernard
  • 2 0
Hell yes BK!!!! Keep it goin!
  • 2 0
 Bernard is in beast mode!
  • 1 0
I don't care who wins the mens as long as it isn't his first win. I love those first win freakouts.
  • 1 0
Cool to see Phil Atwill taking part. Shame he wasn't at Snowshoe, the track would have suited him, I guess.

Is there actually only two junior women racing at a WORLD CUP event?
  • 2 0
Top three junior women get invited to times training. Jenna Hastings is hurt so only two rode in times runs today.
  • 1 0
 @pisgahgnar: ah thanks
  • 3 3
Loris not even on the list.. hope he is ok and ready for tomorrow
  • 1 0
 C'mon Bernardo!!!
  • 3 3
Guessing Jackson and Lachlan's times are typos...?
  • 3 2
 See you in Les Gets!

 "Wait we talking about Practice"!
  • 1 0
 43rd.. ouch
  • 2 3
Is this... Implying there were 2 junior women? For real?
  • 3 3
Sucks but unfortunately for a lot of riders there isn't value in spending the money to travel to NA when the vast majority of races happen across the pond. I can only imagine it's magnified for the juniors with their likely lower compensation.
  • 6 3
I believe its two junior women who did timed training. TT is not mandatory
  • 4 3
Is timed training mandatory? I didnt think so. Pretty sure racers often skip.
  • 4 0
There is 11 junior women in total racing, timed training isn't mandatory
  • 4 0
Only top 3 junior women qualify for timed training
  • 3 0
Only top 3 junior women get TT. Jenna's wrist is in a cast from Snowshoe so she's probably limiting runs. I wouldn't be surprised if this is another practice vs rest track for all the women over the next couple days.
  • 3 0
Where is Aimi Kenyon? She's there with PB Racing, she was on the track walk.
  • 2 0
 @Jack-attaxk: Jenna isn't racing this weekend - a thumb fracture I think.
  • 1 0
@paulskibum: not ranked in the top 3
  • 1 0
@bgoldstone: Didnt read @Jack-attaxk comment before asking, didn't know they limited TT for the Jnr Women
