As always, race day was action packed with plenty of crashes, broken bikes and fast times set across the field. Toowoomba is always one of the best races to spectate and there was no shortage of hecklers on Sunday making it enjoyable for everyone who attended. Thanks to the Toowoomba Moutain Bike Club for organising and hosting another successful event, can't wait to get back there again next year.

The tables were set for another great race out at Toowoomba. Only a few were showing some style over the finish line jump. Most we're too focused on actually making the gap.
There was no shortage of whips being thrown over the weekend. Sean showing some style for the cameras over the ski jump.
The final jump was the spot to be for the best thrills and spills. This was the worst crash I witnessed. A bit nose heavy and casing it hard, throwing him over the bars and face first into the dirt (he was okay).
After Liam's crash on this kicker last year, not too many were keen on sending it big. Kevin still jumping it and putting in a sneaky bar turn for the extra style points.
Nic was one of the few people I saw htting this jump. No bar turn for style, but still made for a good photo.
Despite Liam's terrible crash at the Toowoomba race last year, he showed no signs of slowing down (probably because he can't remember it) and ended up 4th in elite men.
Joke of the day. It's always great when hecklers come prepared. This guy even had a chainsaw.
It was good to see a number of women attacking the tough course over the weekend. Victoria on her way to a 3rd place finish in the elite women.
Luke focused on the trail ahead. He had his eyes on the podium this weekend, but had to settle with 7th in the u19 men.
Racing this brutal Australian track on a hardtail is definitely a gamble. Richard smashed it though with a time that would've seen him qualify in elite men, and got him to first place in the hardtail field.
Make a mistake in the rock garden and things can go wrong fast. Zach landing the final drop slightly sideways, shooting him off-line towards the spectators.
Zach came close to cleaning up a couple of spectators in his race run. I don't think this guy will be sitting next to a downhill course again anytime soon.
Sunni, nicknamed 'The Black Magic', being loudly supported by his fellow Plush teammates through the rock garden.
As the day went on, the crowds arrived. The rock garden, or 'Heckle Alley' as the locals call it, was certainly the main attraction. With cowbells, air horns and even a chainsaw, there was no shortage of heckling this year.
Congratulations to everyone who made the podium. Below are the podium photos for each category.
