|It was amazing, aside from getting stung by forty bees and having the flu, but what these guys do - this is next level!- Kevin Walsh|
The 2016 Trans-Cascadia wrapped up on Monday as a group of slow moving, hungover stragglers at basecamp had one last breakfast together. No one wanted the party to end; from the good times on bikes with the epic views and virtually untouched trails to the camaraderie of basecamp, the late night fires, and the even later drinks, it was hard to say goodbye. Trans-Cascadia was created to bring awareness and resources to the trails around Oakridge and McKenzie in Oregon - and from that has evolved a community. 100 people left the event on Monday with new friendships, renewed friendships, and stories that they will tell over and over.
Registration for the 2017 Trans-Cascadia
opens on October 17 - the 2016 race sold out in 10 minutes - don't miss out!
