Transition Bikes TR450 colorways!

Here are some samples showing the production TR450 graphics and colors. There is a bit of a moto theme going with the red and yellow designs - a bit of shout out to the moto inspired "450" name. Both the red and the yellow frame graphics are clear coated over for durability and a clean look. The white frame has removable decals, with extras included so riders can really customize their setup. There may be some aftermarket TR450 decal kits sold by 3rd party companies, so the white frame is a great blank canvas.

Frames will begin shipping sometime in December.

make a blue and sliver one.

they thought about blue...but every company has blue bikes, so they wanted something different.

eh, but a lot of people like blue, whats wrong with selling a good color?
  • 4 1
i love blue, but nobody is making blue bikes or parts this year like the x-0 stuff, no blue.

Whatever the Cove Shocker, Hooker, STD all have a team blue frame color option this year.

the yellow with blue rims, X.0, bars etc might look good. just play around with it.

blue's nice but it's a little unoriginal... i like the yellow

shark555 blue goes with a lot of colors... and im sure there is, i saw a blue set out outlaws this year in a magazine, so im sure we will be seeing those soon.

this would look so good with a bare polished finish and gold details ie pivots, decals, bolts

I don't like that they are putting graphics on this bike. All their other frames are really clean and that makes them stand out and look better in my opinion. Best frame colour on a bike at the moment is coves team orange, its awesome!

Fluro orange is my favorite too Big Grin Especially on a Transition frame!

Here is my friend transition blinside fluro orange, looks pretty dope. But anywho, i would love that yellow and white one, with red components

Matt that bike is sweet is that a custom job?

Doing it yourself is an added cost, its ok after your stock paint is f*cked. But when i've just bought a frame i'd rather spend my cash on components!

It was a custom powder coating run. White base with a fluro orange top coat. Our team did 12 frames at the same time which helped bring the cost down. I think it worked out to be close to $100 a frame... which for a distinctive, head turning color, is a pretty good deal IMO.

$100 is nothing for that paintjob! What frame is it?
  • 5 1
when i first saw it, i thought it was a coloring contest.. i was disappointed once i read the article.

dude, ya i thought the same thing, and i thought thh prize would be like a new frame.. o well i like the red one ... i would get the 2010 white boxxer on it or 40 looks totally sweet

I want 1 of these more than ANY! other frame currently on the market and that red colourway just makes me want it 10 times more - black fox 40's and white wheels with ano gold detailing = bike pornography!
  • 1 0
i would rep the red one with a white 40, white rims, red hub, red pedals, and all the other red stuff transition puts on stock. i set up my blindside with all blue highlights, and it looks sick (i think)...
