This shortly after they were overheard loudly bragging to their bro bro's in their lifted Raptor about the 6 IPA's they ripped pre-ride.
Oh...and you still get to wait roughly an hour to get out of the forest on 276, but now you can do it with a smug arrogance knowing it's all paid for by Explore Brevard (it'll be as if you are actually one of the trust fund bro bro's).
Plus...you'll be able to afford an extra IPA post ride.
Oh, and the top of Buckwheat Knob was also sanitized.
Yeah...if you ride in Pisgah now and don't see signs of shovel or dozer, let me know. I want to ride that.
Simple answer is...they wouldn't. It would screw them royally.
If Forest Service really cared about erosion, the very first thing they'd do is shut down those "unmapped" trails, but they haven't. It's a lie we're sold. Pisgah National Forest Service doesn't give a crap about the condition of trails.
It's all just trail crews and trail clubs selling that crap so they can ride more tame crap than we can ride technical stuff.
