It's already August and it feels like summer has still not taken off in Switzerland. Once again you are looking at the weekend's forecast and it tells you exactly nothing except that you need to dress for cold, warm, rain and sunshine. Only hail and snow should not be an issue. It will be interesting to see how the racers will dress for these two days.
The 14th Trek Bike Attack stands a bit in the shadow of the downhill world cup in Windham (USA) and Round 6 of the Enduro World Series in Whistler (Canada). Therefore, the seven-times winner of Bike Attack, René Wildhaber, will be absent again, hoping to continue his successful run in the EWS. Last years winner Gusti Wildhaber can neither be found among the starters so who is going to take the win this year?
The racers who want to have a good chance for the win on Sunday need to secure their starting position in the front of the pack via the qualification run on Saturday after-noon.
