What an adventure! Hey @trippinfellaz is there any place we can check the track? More details about the journey, days, km's per day, etc. Thanks for sharing!! \m/

Hey, we did this last summer from Briançon - Nice which i've written up here, there are daily maps, distances and stats on each post which might help you.

anyexcusetoride.com/category/gr5

if you can't be bothered to read all the posts then have a look at this one, it has a good overview of distance, what it is and scroll to the bottom there's a little infogram of all the kit we took!

Amazing journey Smile , thanks for sharing.
Will do it one day as well.

How much luggage / weight did you take per bike? And did you take the drone with you all the journey?

I did a very similar ride like this last summer. If you have the time and money, I highly recommend it. You'll have wonderful memories to carry with you for the rest of your life.

I wonder if the guy with the bloody nose will think about a FF trail helmet .that’s exactly why I have one not just to stop pain and suffering but ride goes on
A dream of an adventure ( well for most of them )

Funny...a post from a few weeks back showcased jerome clemenz and a lady doing the same route the other way around...dream stuff though!!!

Is it possible to do a trip like this but super lightweight and stay in huts that provide food and bed? I want the adventure but not the weight!

@unclesomebody There are a lot of places to stay along the way, in most villages really. I'm just not sure how you would find exactly where they are, there are guide books, maybe they would help? They would cost around £30-50 a night as far as i know.

drone and heavy camping kit was carried by a pair of E bikes on the support team. Not really

Damn, well what with that heavy Mavic Pro drone AND bivy bags I'm not surprised they needed support.
