Brightly colored handlebars might not be a groundbreaking development, but the new collaboration between Truvativ and Troy Lee Designs goes a step further by including a custom sticker kit that allows riders to take their color matching game to the next level. There are three handlebars in the collection—two alloy DH options and one carbon “Enduro” bar—and the stickers are designed to work with RockShox forks with 35mm stanchions. Take a look below for additional details and pricing:
@IamTheDogEzra: AND they come in a box of cereal. Artificial Sugary flavor of your choice... And a coloring comic book of your favorite MTB Action Heroes. Collect them all.
I think its funny how everyone says how sick the world champs bikes are with color matching everything, bikes, kits, etc. However when bike companies try to give it to us we complain.
For the handle bar AND the sticker pack, seems right on par with any other handlebar price no? 99.99 for the aluminum DH bar and the custom stickers for your fork, that's a bargain. Custom fork stickers alone are 40+ and any decent alum bar is gonna cost 89.99 and up.
Yea every price we see here is usually in USD. And I'm speaking in USD, cause I've got custom fork decals from SLIK grapics and NLD and it cost me around 60-70 cad each time.
So don't f*cking buy them, I aint arguing with you dicks about the price of some shit none of us are even gonna buy. Go price any alum bar, and any custom fork decal kit, add those prices, and tell me its less than 99.99$
@kmayHD: Yup, slik wraps graphics cost a fortune especially shipping, just not worth it unless you go for the whole bike decals IMO. Obviously these are a little higher quality vinyl than just "stickers" that you would get at a skate shop or something. It's just creating a perspective that starts from a bias. Like me saying, 99 dollars for an aluminum handlebar and custom die-cut vinyl decals? Holy shit amazing. It's just how you word it. I often find, and it could be that we always get hosed in Canada and I'm used to it, but I find that people complain about prices and I'm always thinking that's normal. Aluminum bars are usually 79-120, carbon being 150+ usually. SRAM stuff is always expensive. Though I won't buy these cause chromag already makes all the colours and I hate SRAM, but it's meh to me. Doesn't seem outrageously priced.
I'm colorblind. We, colorblind people, still find this shit ugly.
As far as I can tell now, Troy is just trying to prove he has the worst taste in the world. And who knew Truvativ was even still around? Since Sram bought them, I thought they were just OEM crap that everyone throws away immediately. That's what I'd do with this stuff if I bought a bike that came with it.
So let me get this straight...You want me to buy some ugly as shit bars, so i can get a sticker pack to put on my fork with the boring, cheap ass logo ....so as to make it less ugly , but infact the stickers suck too? They arent even Scratch n Sniff. f*ck no.
Oh yeah that blue/yellow bar and stickers will perfectly match my giant reign ! Honey, where's my wallet? I need to do a quick stop to my Lbs...I meant the mechanic I think my car is making a weird sound and most likely is going to be $99 bucks to fix it
Nice! Hopefully retailers will drop the actual price to the customer as it seems like the stickers weigh in at about £60 compared to carbon renthals. But i like the look.
It looks like someone had 20 mins spare and thought for about five of them. Not a bad idea in principle but really boring in execution, could have made the graphics more interesting
So you're gonna tell me carbon is stronger yet will only make carbon bars for enduro and ally for downhill?
for the last time; I USED TO TEST EXACTLY THIS SORT OF THING. CARBON FIBRE ISNT A GOOD MATERIAL FOR HARD HITTING MOUNTAIN BIKING. ESPECIALLY WHEN COMPARED TO ALLY.
Started reading after I saw the DH Alu option in 31.8. Cuz so real MTB is about bro, no profit, no marketing driven stuff BRO. I think I like SRAM bro. There's hope in the world bro.
Lucha Lords
Power Rangers
Insane Clown Posse
Whats the 2018 collection going to be? Yo Gabba Gabba?
Also curious if anyonw knows what flavor the packaging will come in?

*Picks up his Revelation and goes home quietly weeping.*
