What was needed to enter?
Readers were asked to choose the top three in finishing order (Pro Men and Pro Women). Then leave their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the comments section of the contest article. The people with the correct answers were entered to win a RockShox WC BoXXer.

What they won

A RockShox BoXXer WC (valued at over $1700 - $1735 USD)

The winning racers from Fort William were:

Pro Women:
1st - Rachel Atherton
2nd - Tahnee Seagrave
3rd - Emmeline Ragot

Pro Men:
1st - Greg Minnaar
2nd - Aaron Gwin
3rd - Marcello Guitierrez Villegas

The track at Fort William is always known as a strong rider's course and multi-time winner Greg Minnaar stepped on the top spot once again with Rachel Atherton taking the victory for the ladies. With over 1800 entries only one user got the closest to being correct by getting 4 of the 6 placings right. Congrats to KKSE, you've won yourself a brand new RockShox WC BoXXer.

KKSE -

Elite men:
1. Greg Minnaar
2. Aaron Gwin
3. Troy Brosnam

Elite women:
1. Rachel Atherton
2. Manon Carpenter
3. Emmeline Ragot

Just shows you how open and incredible field of men and women racers are at WC level. 1800 entries. NO ONE got it right, only one person got 67%.
Outstanding to be able to watch and follow WC a few weekends a year!!
Only complaint is we only get a handful of races!!

Congrats KKSE, Minaar and Rachel!

Guys it's pretty normal that nobody found the right order... just a question of basic combinatorics, If you have to chose 3 riders (the top3) into lets say 20 riders that may be in the top 3 in a certain order, it makes a partial permutation of 3 in 20 which is equal to (20! / 17!) = 20x17x18 = 6840 possibilities with different top 3 podiums and orders, and not even counting the women possibilities...

Allright we can take out all the chances of win for the procore riders (lol), but even with that it stays a lot!

Otherway, well done kkse you got this one Wink

Hell yeah dude! I just entered in the one for Leogang. I hope I win Razz I also hope Troy Brosnan wins. He is from the same state as me - Adelaide and I see him at all the races I do - except the one I have tomorrow for the state series because he is obviously overseas preparing to stand on the top step of the podium with his team mate Aaron Gwin next to him in second.

 Me too hahah

I think true lottery style would be neater. Without a perfect match...the Grand prize rolls forward into the next or something...small consolation prize for the runner up kinda thing...just throwin' it out there Smile
....Congrats KKSE!
