I have a chesty mount and it's nothing close to that smooth a shoot. Is there a gimbal attached or something? Mine always turn out more shaky than his helmet cam!

yup, hes wearing a gimball.. most mtb youtubers will wear one and they talk about them at lenght in their videos.. check out seth's bike hacks, BKXC, singletrack sampler, nate adams, skills with phil.. there's a lot of info about gimbals in those dudes vids..

I have a hard time wrapping my head around how he can ride a freshly re-vamped track that rough, at that speed, while still giving a thorough, coherent commentary. Serious skills!

I'm sure he said it honestly, but I think I'll start using "bit of a headwind" every time I come up short on a jump( that being mostly and generally on small jumps in the first place)
