You know Charlie, right?

He’s a fast, talented and hard working young downhiller from the Forest of Dean. He won 12 races in 2014. He was 3rd overall at the BDS, winning Antur Stiniog and Fort William. He killed it in youth and now he’s stepping up to Junior. Oh … and he just won the Mini Downhill this weekend at the Forest of Dean on his brand new Nukeproof Pulse!

Charlie will race for Wideopenmag.co.uk in 2015. He will race the full British Downhill Series, three European World Cups, British Downhill Champs … and a heap of regional UK events like Pearce Cycles or his local Forest of Dean races.

bigquotesThis year I want to race all of the British Downhill Series, National Champs and as many World Cups as possible. My goals are to hit the season feeling fit and motivated and to be up there with the second year juniors as quick as I can. - Charlie Hatton

Interesting line on the dragons tail! I don't think I'd better try that!! Can't wait to see what the new season brings him, a true talent and I wish I had a tiny bit of his skill. This is just the beginning for Charlie I'm sure, watch this space! Ps, it's great seeing the local tracks on film.

Stoked for him and I know that the Flyupdownhill team are too! Si said they had taken him as far as they could and that his new team (which he would not reveal at the time) should help him no end by upping his riding level even more!
