LIFT-MTB is a French brand who design and build suspension parts and e-bike kits in France. For 2018 they've released a remote lock out system to upgrade Fox DHX 2 and Float X2 shocks.

You have certainly already seen this type of remote system on the official Fox DH pro riders bikes, but Fox haven't released anything to the general public. In fact, Lift-MTB started to work on this project just before discovering the first team prototype, so after many months of testing, they have decided to put this part into production. Everybody can now use this technology on their DH or big enduro bike.

Requirements

1. The first requirement for easily upgrading your DHX2 and Float X2 shocks with the LIFT-MTB remote lock out system is to have the manual lock out system on the shock. If you don’t have the small blue lock out lever on your shock, that will be not easily be compatible, or you must change many part’s inside your shock, and these parts can be changed only by a Fox service center.

2. The second point is to be sure to have enough space on the frame for the remote system, the measurements and other information are on the Lift-MTB web site.

Note: This system was created to work with classic front shifter Shimano or SRAM (for 2 or 3 speed front dérailleurs from all years). The system is also compatible with Original FOX remote 3 position lever, but this lever is more expensive than a front shifter.

it could have much more potential if it could rotate the LSC knob for X2 shocks that do not have the climb switch. Adding the climb switch is very expensive, and some enduro bikes (Capra) require the longer shocks that do not have the climb switch option.
