Nicolas Vouilloz, Florian Nicolaï, Adrien Dailly, Alexandre Cure, Cécile Ravanel... These EWS top guns are all from the French Riviera, and they are all used to winter training, battles and fun on the Urge 1001 Enduro Tour, their local enduro championship organised by
1001sentiers since 2007 and which will be composed of six rounds next year for its eleventh edition.
The 2017 season will open the beginning of March at Dolceacqua (Italy) and then go back to Maritime Alps, enduro birthplace, for five more rounds on the grey earth of l'Escarène, in the black pines forest of Breil-sur-Roya, in the soft grass and tight switchbacks of Roubion, on the alpine trails of la Brigue and finally at Sospel for the final race of the series, on November 11-12 2017.
A huge program that will mix pro riders and amateurs, flowy trails and tough stages, cooked with passion and friendliness by the organizers of the Riviera. And because the Maritime Alps have produced a lot of enduro champions, 1001sentiers is also preparing the next generation with the 5th edition of the 1001 Enduro Kid Tour, which will propose in 2017 no less than five enduro races just for 7-14-year-old riders. Last year, there were between 70 and 100 in each race, and some of them are already amazingly fast and versatile...
