Those who know, know that the Pacific Northwest is the true mecca for mountain biking. Every mountain biking website, forum and magazine is constantly flooded with PNW media. Unfortunately it’s now at the point that everything looks fairly similar, and it’s a constant gun fight to produce something that stands alone in an over saturated category. So on that note here is my shameless contribution to the long list of PNW edits. Wildland media and I had a lot of fun making this edit. We dodged logging trucks, mosquitoes and ended up hiking from the base; it was a long day. Originally we wanted it raw but there was a constant hum of an excavator and trucks, so Robin added some creepy frontier music. We hope you enjoy another of our installments.

 Vedder is terrible no one go there

 Reads into sarcasm, starts looking at flights.....

 Vedder Sucks, go ride elsewhere.

 Also, Chilliwack Lake is really warm.

 Don't come to Chilliwack, the riding's really bad here.
  • 10 4
 Also read into sarcasm, must be a great place to ride. Confirmed. Looks like a good place for the first Worldcup e bike, uphill, climbing championships. 500 participants already booked...thousands more to come.

 @deanw: Haha saw that sign at the enduro! #veddersuckstellyourfriends

 Chilliwack is not in the Pacific Northwest chums. It is the Pacific Southwest of Canada if you like, but no one calls it that. Seattle, Port Angeles even Bellingham are all PNW. Unless the Manifest Destiny comes to fruition, nothing in Canada is geographically referenced based on its relation to the USA.

 In the US school system, children are taught that Canada is America's hat.

 Wait, you don't want to be apart of our PNW club? Come-on, it's for members only!
  • 8 2
 @endlessblockades: It's America's Toque.

 @endlessblockades: Wherein resides the brain?

 Chilliwack isn't as romantic sounding. So I just annexed it, its close enough.

 Will you go for Cascadia? Will I get flame for that? nvm, just gonna go ride some PNW/PSW/Cascadia/Home trails now.

 @number44: Fan of Cascadian post-Black metal here - WITTR and whatnot.

 @bartmoore: I'm stumped. No wait, that's Oregon that's stumped.

 @number44: Cascadia FTW. Greetings from the break away republic of Vancouver Island.

 @mrdmallory: Nice! See you at the next Republic of Cascadia Secession meeting (whichisobviouslyfakepleasedon'tsendthejackbootedthugs). (Also the biking sucks, don't come here. And the traffic and weather.)

 So BC is not on the north west side of north america and near the coast of the pacific ocean? WOW! So much nationalism these days.
  • 7 6
 @slayerdegnar: No, not nationalism, just geographic accuracy. At the risk of being pedantic, Chilliwack is not near the Pacific Ocean nor is it in the "North West" of anything. This kinda shit is why Columbus thought he landed in India.
  • 4 0
 @slayerdegnar: Maybe Chilliwack doesn't identify as PNW. How dare us Americans assume the geographical pronouns of Chilliwack!
  • 7 1
 Why don't you check google @mrdmallory. It's off the Pacific Ocean. Which is west. And it's on the north end of it. The Pacific Ocean is international. So PNW it is.

 Awesome edit guys! This must have been filmed in 2015 when it was dry and not sideways raining like the last 9 months here in BC Smile Mission accomplished boys, I want to ditch all #teamdadbod responsibilities and ride #veddersucks

 This was filmed within the last 2/3 weeks for sure, I recognise my own work Big Grin

 Another great morning coffee edit. Keep em coming. Great soundtrack mixed with the wonderful mechanical music of a bike doing what a real bike does. Love it!

 Also, I must admit - this is almost as darn good as those Yeti edits !!! Such a pleasure to watch, thanks for putting in all the effort to Git'R'Done

 I honestly only watch content from the PNW. Well, that and World Cup DH coverage

 I don't need to watch an edit (as cool as it may be) to want to drop anything I am doing and go ride!

 It might be the SLIder phenomenon, but i seem to noticeon this awesome edits, that a lot of this un-sponsored riders are either on a Banshee or a Transition bikes.

 Was just talking to the wife this morning about how we should leave NZ and move to the PNW!
  • 5 0

 I volunteer as tribute!
  • 1 0
 @Waldon83: Not when your wife has to fly to Seattle for a week each month and leaves you at home with 3 kids! And not all of NZ is badass, it's like when she tries to convince me to move back to her home in Maritime Canada, "Canada's great for riding", yeah, but not Nova Scotia!!

Halfway between in WA or BC would suit me.

 If u live in one of NZ's riding hubs u don't need to move anywhere

 Rotorua is heaven on earth! We just raced the day after the cyclone and tracks were near perfect still!

 Exceptional. Truly.

 i'm guessing the formula for that dirt = less than a year old + less than a dozen riders ride it + the 4th day after the rain stopped?
  • 2 0
 @loam33: close, 1 year 1 month old + about 500 riders + probably the 4th day after the rain stopped haha

 Unfortunately it's shot in BC. Canadians don't use the same reference system as the US.
  • 1 0
 So from Canada's reference, this would be called the PSE?
  • 5 1
 @Thustlewhumber: Chilliwack. People call it Chilliwack.
