I'm familiar with 4 different competitive devo teams in the Salt Lake area alone (Summit, DNA, Maybird, Impact), not to mention the 2,000+ NICA high school XC racers in Utah, and two different XC race series that run through the summer (only cost $20/race entry). The infrastructure is in Utah to produce talented riders, excited to see what's to come..
Big fan of GT (my DH & HT are GT's) but does anyone else familiar with them feel like they're a tad bit short? I'm 5'10" and a medium frame on any other brand bike fits like a glove. The large GT feels too big but the medium GT feels a little too small. Maybe I'm just an in-between sizer or it's just the brand? For example I wear a size 9 in Nike's, 8.5 in DC's and 9.5 in adidas... anyone? Bueller?
I have a 2016 Sanction and at a size S, it feels like an M. And my size M 2018 Zaskar Carbon Pro feels more like a perfect fit, size S whereas my 2014 Zaskar Carbon Comp in size M feels like a large but my 2015 Zaskar Elite size S feels like an XS. I own a few more GTs and can tell you that at 5' 6", the sizing feels all over the place.
My first Grade was size 54 (a medium let's say), it was discontinued as 54 but the frame was renamed 56! lol I had to replace it with a 53. All of my other GTs are M and they feel adequate.
It's in ~minute 3:00.
