2016 Western Open Recap - Video
 | Coming back to Kicking Horse for Western Open was exciting and the event definitely delivered. The terrain there is gnarly and the crew did a great job with prepping the track including adding some fun new sections. I'm stoked to take the win and gain practice on this type of course leading intothe next Dunbar Summer Series Canada Cup in Panorama and nationals. Thanks for the awesome weekend! |

Man I'd really like to see a venue like this end up on the World Cup circuit - they really should come out to the west side of North America and do two races every year - one in the US and one in Canada.

Such a rad weekend!! Thanks for putting this event on. Anyone who has thought of going to any bc cup race, i suggest...you do! Bummed I got injured the day after and am going to miss a couple races, hope to be back soon.

Fuck yes! Finally a recap the is bad ass as hell and includes all rider making them look fast! Thank you so much you should do this for the Canada cups aswell!

Solid video of the riding. I would like to have seen some more of the race atmosphere though - how this race course/venue/event is unique or different from every other downhill race.
