 I never watch product video.

Videos are always better than photos, especially if it's porn - bike porn I mean

@jasonlucas: Oh it's not obvious that these are the same things... and then why bother having two different articles?!
  • 3 3
 @f*ckingsteve: because millennials.
  • 4 1
@f*ckingsteve: one for people who likes videos and one for people who prefer photos
  • 8 1
@krankin: we need a video filter like the e-bike filter.......

To each his own. I see my self owning an ebike someday because they are pretty fun to ride. I’d still own a regular pedal bike because those are fun too. Depending on which trail I’ll be doing that day. @onemind123:

 Ugh, talking heads.

Perhaps the middle finger at 1:53 was for us.

Prices for things are fuckin nuts
  • 5 0
I was actually thinking $120 for a set of shoes wasn’t too bad these days. Especially when compared to Shimano, 510 or Ion all coming in at $200. And thinking that 510s don’t last for beans now that Adidas is Chief they might be worth a look.
  • 2 1
People need to stop buying overpriced shit. The only reason it costs so much is because people are willing to pay those prices. It's gonna take some sort of industry shakeup- which will literally never happen- but hopefully something changes.

 Great work Jason and Christina!

Thanks! Good to have some good feedback, appreciate that!

Fairly certain that is not the point of removable cheek pads.
  • 2 0
I think it's to help you to remove your helmet without a risk of damaging your neck in case of a nasty crash. Then again, I might be wrong...
  • 2 0
@evildos: pretty much. It is designed to allow emergency workers to remove your helmet easier. The fairly certain part was sarcastic.
  • 2 0
@mfoga: owww sorry, I didn't get it... My bad !
  • 12 4
omg why is this a video, and WHY WERE THOSE GUYS NOT WEARING KNEEPADS WHEN THEY WERE RACING THROUGH THE TRAILS!!!???!!?!?!!11/1/11111/??1

Perhaps they forgot them at home. I forget my pads at home sometimes and ride raw.
  • 2 0
My comment on that theme appeared in the video.... Winning at life right now
  • 1 1
coz you only wear them if you plan to crash.

+1 for the CK tl valves - I have them. The best valves for weight/strength. Personally, though, I stick with black plastic valve caps. The last thing I need is some ahole letting down my tyres and stealing the valves. But the nice thing is I can put a single CK valve cap on my keyring just in case.

I treat my MTB like a 3 year old child. Always in my eyesight.
  • 9 0
@chasejj: same. I throw it down a cliff.
  • 3 0
Damn you. Damn you all to hell. Made me go look at those valves. Now I want - no need a set of those in Matte Bourbon. And my perfectly functional DT 240 hi s need to be replaced in the same color. While at it may as well get different hub spacing and a new superboost frameset. And when my wife asks why this all happened it is because of those valves.

 Lifetime guarantee is insane hey?!?

I don’t know why, (well I do, it’s nostalgia for when I used to go bowling as a kid and had a red bowling ball with sparkles), but I waaaay dig those TLD helmets with sparkly paint. Bring back that gold one! So ugly it was beautiful.

 Ok is it ‘POC(K) or P-O-C’. . ‘cause there’s a 50/50 chance I’ve been saying wrong for a decade. . .
  • 2 0
poc(k). i confirmed in one of their vids, cuz i wondered the same thing.
  • 2 0
 @savagelake:

"it stands for piece of cake”

www.velonews.com/2013/07/gear/piece-of-cake-swedens-poc-to-enter-road-market-in-2014_296894

So I guess if it’s an acronym, it’s user’s choice?

Whilst we're at it: is it Da-kyne? Or Da-key-nay (per my mate who also thinks 'bodacious' is an actual word)?
  • 1 0
@CRAFTY-P: Duh-kyne. It's Hawaiian pidgin for "the kind," which is used like "whatchamacallit" or "thingy" when someone can't think of a word or phrase. But also, 'bodacious' is an actual word.

 Where’s tippie pinkbike??
  • 2 0
Might be enjoying his family a bit more after many years on the travelling road show... Good for him if so.
  • 4 0
I preferred Tippie giving the reps 15seconds.
  • 3 0
575$ USD for a mountain bike helmet is truly a "steal of a deal", I'll take 3 and use one as a flower pot
  • 1 0
 Really enjoyed it. Smile
Just a little thing I would like to point is I think you should try to set your microphone or add a protection in order to avoid the "saturation" on the every "P"

 MORE JASON AND CHRISTINA!

Is that the new 2020 white sprint pants in the Ultra material that I spy in the background!! Let's see more pics of that please... and what other colors they will come in.
  • 2 0
that D4 paint scheme is way better than all the color options which are available now
  • 2 0
Totally. It's a redux of the colorway on the original @troyleedesigns Daytona in'96. I hope they make it available for sale.

Is it just me, or have those Leatt shoes been featured in at least three stories on Pinkbike this week?
  • 4 4
Dude needs a tan... so does the Canadian guy doing all the talking!!! I digress... Oregonians are as white as Canadians this time of year.
  • 1 0
I did wonder if it was some self deprecating remark.
  • 3 3
I love you, Pinkbike, and appreciate all your hard work, but I dislike the video format. Just my two cents. I'd rather scroll through pics and read captions.
  • 2 2
Please prioritize producing posts with plenty of pictures, Pinkbike. People prefer a plethora of product pictures to painfully protracted motion-picture productions.
  • 1 0
I think it’s cool Pinkbike isn’t wasting any money on editing or rewrites with Jason....
  • 1 1
Where are all the pics man?
  • 1 1
I thought Leatt was pronounced like ‘neat’, not like this...
  • 9 11
Can we stop with the damn videos
