Video: 90's Inspired Dance Moves & Shredding Dusty Trails with Isabeau Courdurier, Adrien Dailly & Lisandru Bertini

Jun 1, 2022
by Sarah Moore

After a late start to the season, Isabeau Courdurier, Adrien Dailly and Lisandru Bertini were starting to get impatient. Luckily, the Enduro World Series 2022 season kicks off this weekend!

Watch for fun 90's vibes with rad dance moves, retro boomboxes, an old Lapierre BMX, and the team shredding dusty trails.

Isabeau Courdurier's flashy custom Spicy and a special Bomber jacket that will be on sale on the Lapierre website at end of the week were also inspired by the 90's vibrant colors.

That was way more 80s than 90s. And now I'm angry that I'm feeling old enough to be able to lecture the whippersnappers on not getting their decades right; I think I need my nap. Also go find somebody else's lawn.

say this after I had to post basically the same...I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed haha.
  • 16 0
you're definitely not the only one here that noticed that. Growing up in the 80s and 90s there's definitely 90s inspiration however I have to agree, more 80s then anything else. Now get off my lawn. Oh wait, I live in AZ, get off my rocks.

Maybe it supposed to be Canada in the 90's.

always take a nap before you go to the pinkbike comments. helps fortify ones constitution.

@notu: Dude... that was last week in Kelowna.

Came here to say the same thing. ::hats off to ya::

Yup..1 decade off. 90s is what all the 20ish girls are wearing these days-for some reason..baggy Jean's and crop tops. 70s and 80s had way more style.
  • 1 0
Was it supposed to be 90s?
  • 5 0
@jaznomore: hahaha! The Jersey Shore of BC, lol
  • 1 0
still that description of the 80s or 90s is always wrong, there were no flashy colors, there was a lot of brown and wooden colors, ahstray smell and cheap hairspray.

I almost thought this was a Pit Viper collab.

And these kiddos want to think the 90s were cool…well, it was cool, but you’ll never know it so stop trying to make your generation think they can live it. Lol.

@KK11: The heck are you on about? I'm hardly a "kiddo", ya goshdarn cynic

Don't get me wrong, this is a great ad...BUT "90's Inspired"? The music, the clothes, the boombox...that was the 80's, clearly the marketing dept is saying 90's because it's cool?

Or a Millennial did a 2 minute web search on "the 90's". I'll wait here for the "Okay Boomer" comments (note: I was born in 1976).
  • 2 0
@notu: I would bet money that's exactly what happened! And an "okay boomer" comment would just prove this point even more.

Hard not to love Isabeau. She's so full of positive energy and a blast to watch.

Isabeau was right into it - the other 2 not so much

Cool, I miss those stereos ,we have to rewind the tapes with a pen on the hole of the cassette to save battery’s,and when battery’s was low we smack them in the middle to give them extra life on them ,good season to all of you

I miss silex and square wheel as well.
  • 2 0
Dual cassettes were where it was at. Also, how slow the cassette ejected was a key purchasing point.

It was nice to see a team vid where the riders are having fun and not taking themselves so seriously. I am looking forward to seeing how this season plays out.

That bike looks huge next to her!

She could Come to the Vintage MTB Festival:

Lapierre had some decent trames in the 90s.

 Definitely Wink

That custom paint job is sick! Prob unpopular opinion, but bring back those loud colors on bike frames. Matte black, sand, and mustard are meh. Give me neon green, pink, sparkly purple, etc

They can ride, they can dance... darn kids and all their talent.

Was France a decade behind? We were rocking that style in the 80s
  • 2 0
No that was 80s style in france too. Only the legendary "bowl de marseille" are from the early 90s in this video...

I have noticed even 1 or two states over(from LA) can be a season or year behind on trends.
The affliction fad and the temecula ranch look are couple examples.
  • 1 0
@jrocksdh: Temecula ranch look - you gotta expand on that, inquiring minds wanna know!
  • 2 0
@RadBartTaylor: for a while there you had socal ladies trying to look as though they were equestrians..so think horse riding(look) leggings and over the knee flat bottom boots...
Then their(m&f) going out look was the boot cut Jean's with big back pockets garnished with embroidery.
Now we've been onto the hipster/new mexico look for few seasons(other than than 90s trenders).
Fads are fun to watch.
