It's not about the sponsors. It's not about having the latest £1000 piece of camera equipment, or being the fastest guy on the hill.

It's about pushing yourself, your own personal limits. It's about being out in the cold and damp, while others sit in the warmth of their homes, and it's about making do with what you have.

This video isn't about promoting the next up-and-coming DH pinner; it's about doing what we love, about the satisfaction of hitting that new gap, or railing a turn, or attempting not to laugh as your friend takes that cliche goggle shot.

The rider is Jacob Goudie, and this was shot on a £90 camera from Tesco.

Jacob Goudie rides the Mast on his 12 Kg Orange Blood.

I believe the last phrase is grammatically incorrect however I am not going to stoop to your level and insult your knowledge of the English language as I have better things to do and believe that intellect has nothing to do with riding mountain bikes.

May I ask why certain members of Diamond Hill Media insist on wearing excessive amounts of body armour? If speed has no value then why is it necessary for one wear body protection? Juggernauts belong in war zones not mountain bike trails!

Trolls belong under bridges not on pinkbike...

"or being the fastest guy on the hill." Is this view common to all Diamond Hill Media members or just some? The statement implies that Diamond Hill Members would prefer to be slow than fast. From what I personally have seen of select Diamond Hill Media Members this statement is factually incorrect and if I may say it complete and utter nonsense. Could you please verify my concern.

I hereby verify that the given view is one shared by all members of Diamond Hill Media. If one had paid attention in English class, one would be in possession of the necessary knowledge and intellect to correctly and meaningfully analyse statements, not to mention implementing the correct layout. This ill-informed, grammatically incorrect (...''verify my concern.'), use of English leads me to believe that the members of Silver Hill Media do not possess sufficient intellectual skills to process and understand a given statement, such as the one shown above.

For your information, the statement above, in its entirety, conveys our sentiment that the main purpose of mountain-biking is to gain personal satisfaction, rather that to display dominance is the form of superior speed.

Yep, we thought so. It's not about the sponsors, it's about being better than Silver Hill Media.
