Whether you're just getting into riding, you shred every day of the week or are just interested in mountain biking everyone loves to sit down with a cuppa and enjoy a good edit. The idea for this video came about late last year and was somewhat of an adhoc arrangement, a handful of us had been wanting to put together an edit for months and months and finally decided to pull our socks up and get it done!

......

......

Our idea was to take riders from all different backgrounds including, dirt jumping, 4X, DH, enduro and freeride and plonk them all on some mid-travel steeds, push them down the hill and see what we got. Our chosen venue was the Surrey hills, the diversity of this area made it a no-brainer with its multitude of steep, mellow, loamy, hardpack, jumpy and twisty terrain there really is something for everyone. We really had a lot of fun producing this edit and trying to spice up the idea of going for a shred on the XC bikes, so we hope you enjoy it too!

......

......

Many thanks to Jack Gill at Visual Elements Productions for filming and editing, Liam Joyce at Parallel Lines Media for additional footage and keeping everyone in line, PCJ at Ison Distribution for supplying our fantastic MRP chain guides and Matt Andrews at Halo Wheels.

Best edit I've seen in ages - sums up the simple joys of shredding with friends!

Sweet but short. Another minute or so would've been great unless that was the end of the song.

 Nice edit. Good riding and recognise a lot of these spots in Surrey. However this is a better example of the British winter weather in Surrey;

This is still one of the best locations being kept quiet in Surrey... The kids who built this are fucking mental!!

Nice vid, sick riding, good tune. Nice!
That's hardly a stereotypical winter ride though.. Maybe in Englandshires soft south. Get the spikes* on n come up to Scotland for some real uk winter riding! Wink

*(or studded tires dependant on ice content)

I feel sorry for all you guys and your winters. We don't ever have to stop ridding here in so cal. Basically the only good part about living here...
  • 3 0
dont feel to sorry for us, winter rocks when you not a pussy and scared of the cold...we need that variety to go and shred on skis or a board...
  • 2 0
Fo sho the cold is fun too and we have plenty of mtns in so cal if that's your bag, but when I hear about guys hanging their bikes up for 6 months of the year it makes me a little sad. U know it's just cool having all the options. Like I said though this place is pretty miserable in other ways. Def jealous of a lot of what you guys have up north

looks great fun, this is what is all about, i'd love to be able to jump like they do.(or even jump) But where is the rain , mud puddles and multi layers.
  • 2 0
Is this anywhere near Peaslake and all the stuff? Looks really fun and I could do with finding some less pedally trails.
  • 1 0
pretty much. You be surprised how many times you've ridden past all this lol
  • 1 0
Haha yeah, yesterday was the first time out that we hadn't found something new. Mainly because the xmas period had taken its toll on how much we could be arsed to pedal.
  • 1 0
I enjoyed the video, added it to favorites actually, but I have to say if that is what Winter looked like there wouldn't be an issue.
  • 4 0
Up until christmas winter here has been super mild. I guess this was filmed before then. Now it's just pissed it down non stop for the last couple of weeks.
  • 2 0

It's easy to kill the winter blues when you can wear a T-shirt and there isn't 30cm of snow covering your trails.
