Video: A Year of Bike Parks with Luis Gerstner

Dec 26, 2019
by Luis Gerstner

2019 has been one hell of a year for me.

As I moved to the Alps, I was able to ride bike parks nearly every weekend. So I travelled a lot through the Alps, ticking off a lot of Bikeparks that were on my list.

In this edit you'll see my highlights of the whole season, off and on the bike. Hope you enjoy.

Ride. Repair. Repeat.

I wanna say thanks to my supporting partners:
Flowbikes.de, @Amplifi, @norcobicycles , mountainlove.de, Bikepark Leogang and @Maxxis.

Hope you enjoyed and let's get things fired up in 2020.

Where would you live in the Alps if you maximize your access? Seems like Geneva is within 3 hours of a lot of resorts.

i think Innsbruck is almost perfect!! You have a local bikepark and lots of good Parks nearby within a one hour drive.
But if you want to live close to Portes du Soleil (Chatel/Morzine etc), then Geneva might be good too Wink

@lumpfboldbiker121: Innsbruck public transport just showed the middle finger to the mtb community again. They did so by announcing a 150€ bike only ticket to purchase in addition to the ticket for yourself to get to the local bikepark and the trails inside the city. So besides paying an extra 150€, options are either pedalling or driving your car everywhere. They call themselves bikecity and invite crankworx for another 3 years, but that's just a bad joke.
