Video: A Year of Racing & Rallying DH Bikes in Europe

Apr 16, 2019
by Luis Gerstner

The days are getting longer, the parks are opening soon, the first races aren't far away. Time to look back to what went down last year and get hyped on what is to come!

On top.
Definitely one of my highlights of the past season. On top of a mountain somewhere close to Saalbach Hinterglemm, after a couple of hours climbing.

Thanks for the ongoing support to FlowBikes.de, Mountainlove.de, @norcobicycles, AMPLIFI and eyeandart.

Not biking related but my heart goes out to you France. The whole world has shed a tear or two and we stand together. Vive la France!

Danke an die Schweizer, one of the most (if not THE most) beautiful country in the world Smile

@RoadRunner13: who the heck down votes such a tragedy?
  • 9 5
@Boardlife69: What tragedy are you speaking about? The fact that the President react faster to a burning building(a important one I consent) than to his people misery ?

@kosumo: People misery ? We are in France, not in Yemen, Birmania or Venezuela...
Anyway, back to business (biking), this video is really good, and the region between France and Switzerland haaaa, the best part of the world Big Grin

@RoadRunner13: total true, sad but true.

@Boardlife69: just to be sure, when I said "the most beautiful country", I was thinking about Schweiz Big Grin

@kosumo: I agree with you on one point : the excessive reaction (of the French, and the people in general) on something not "that" important. Seeing the nature being polluted affects me far more (easy to see when mountain biking, sadly) than a building which will be "fixed" with some huge amount of money....

What are you standing together against? Are you standing in solidarity against fire? You gonna go downtown and hold an anti-fire protest?
  • 2 1
@kookseverywhere: Not standing together "against" anything. We stand together in grieving the destruction of one of the most well known, most visited and most beautiful structures in the world. The craftsmanship that went into the Notre Dame cannot be replicated today. Even if they could replicate it my guess is only a handful of people in the whole world have that skill/talent.

@RoadRunner13: Indeed "misery" is overkill but you got the point. I'm just a bit sick of seeing drama everywhere for everything and nothing.

In the end we are on a MTB channel and we should all stand together against EMTB, air spring fork and bottle-cage free frame !

@kosumo: Alleluia (except for air spring fork, this is going too far)
