Video: Aggy Rips his Aluminum Capra on the Sunshine Coast

In ‘Full Metal Goat’ we see Aggy showing off his daily routine and doing what he does best: shredding, sending, scrubbing – no matter what the conditions are or the time of day. Getting to know the new aluminum Capra, the Canadian proves that the goat still has it what it takes for unlimited good times.

bigquotesWe shot the video on the Sunshine Coast of BC. We spent about ten days battling snow and rain, but it made for really dynamic filming opportunities. My favorite trail during the production was Coastal Cruise, one of my all-time favorites.Graham Agassiz

Currently, Aggy is recovering from a leg injury. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery!

Even his slow motions are faster than me

He's a great rider. I hope he heals up completely from that broken leg. I know from personal experience that those distal tip/fib breaks can take much longer than you might think to heal up. The retained hardware in my leg reminds me of that when I'm feeling frisky these days.

I've been in the club twice. It can also take a while to get the adrenaline rush back.

 I agree, completely.
Broke my tib&fib last december and I'm still in recovery. It's taking longer than I expected as you said.
And loosing your mobility sucks af. Much more harder than one can imagine.

I hope Aggy will heal up soon (he didn't need surgery, didn't he?) and give more of these blast edits!!!

@panterafr: It took me a good year, but then again I was back on my bike 90 days post-op. Against the doc's orders........

He's offline in Banning, Riverside County, CA. A miserable place for a compulsive Qcumber hunter.

YT shooting itself in own foot by illustrating no reason at all to spend extra on their carbon bikes.
  • 21 0
All their bikes are sold out nearly instantly. I don't think they're struggling to market their carbon variants Smile

If anything I say good on them for not always highlighting and promoting the most expensive range.
  • 9 0
Not at all. They're going to sell anything they release regardless of it's frame material.
  • 1 0
 sold out anyways
  • 2 0
@GSuperstar: Sold out because of great marketing unreasonably high demand? Or because they are a company ill-equipped to meet the demands they do have? I honestly don’t know, but just because they are constantly sold out doesn’t mean that’s the mark of a company doing rip-tiring business.
  • 2 0
@TheR: Absolutely agree with all your points, and I honestly don't know either. Though the point still stands that regardless of an Alu advert or Carbon they're not in stock or on shelves collecting dust Smile

One of the best videos I have watched in a while! Absolutely ripping it up out there. Nice Aggy!

I loved how Norbs and Aggy rode the same frame. Now I'm bummed they're no longer teammates!

The name and the music what a juxtaposition...
  • 1 0
does anyone know if he rides 27.5 or 29er?
  • 1 0
 27.5 in this video.
  • 1 0
@jmc361: thanks, been trying to decide between 29 and 27.5 for an alloy shredder thats all about the shred.
  • 1 0
Well he used to shred his aluminum Capra...
  • 1 4
Honestly, just completely missed opportunity to really make it metal. At least stand for the name and slap people in the face with the name according music, could've pumped up more people. But well. Strange enough that they get new frames in stock for the market. Reuse old frames perhaps

I’ve heard of ally frames cracking but ripping one?!
