Like you, we’re passionate about exploring British Columbia. But now is not the time to travel. Please stay local and follow the advice of health authorities to keep yourself and others safe. Do your part now, so we can all explore BC again later. In the meantime, find updated travel information here.

Micayla Gatto and Hailey Elise call the Sea to Sky region home and have Vancouver, Whistler, Pemberton, and Squamish trails at their fingers tips. No strangers to lush coastal forests, loam, and rocky terrain, this summer, they looked north for something different. They headed out on a road trip to explore areas of the Caribou region: Williams Lake and Kamloops. Known for terrain shaped by the interior weather, history rich in gold, and more recently, abundant trail networks, there's no shortage of adventure. From farmer's markets, to breweries, to unreal riding, saddle up and then giddy up, the girls are on the road. Second stop: Kamloops!

Harper Mountain is a must hit when visiting Kamloops.
After a quick paddle board on Paul Lake, it's time to hit the Harper Mountain trails.

Need a quick bike fix Head over to the Bicycle Cafe.

We do have a lot more than 4 trails in Kamloops, just so everyone is aware. They did, however, hit every brewery in town.

It's really good to see more women shredding on pb. I had a few years off riding when I went to uni, so I've come back to pinkbike recently and I don't remember anywhere near this amount of content being created by women back then. This is really what is needed if you want to get more women into the sport. So It really encouraging to see so much content being produced by the ladies!

Now this is an edit that represents mountain bikers, Canadiens, women, fun people, beer drinkers, etc. without slapping you across the face with tokenism. They are women, they can mountain bike well and appear to be having a great time. No headlines needed. Speaks for its self. Strong work

Good stuff! For all the potential road trippers out there, it might be worth pointing out that Williams Lake and Kamloops are not the same region. Williams Lake is in the Cariboo Region and Kamloops is in the Thompson-Nicola Valley and are over 3 hours apart. Source: BC boy

It’s good fun to surf around in! But damn if it doesn’t do a number on bearings and drivetrains.
