Video and Race Report: Eastern States Cup Enduro Finals - Mountain Creek, NJ

by Eastern States Cup

The Maxxis ESC Enduro crew made their way back to New Jersey for one last outing and a crack at the series overall title. With 150% series points on the line, the final race can make or break a racer's hunt for the coveted white jersey. Some choose to play it safe with the overall in mind while others need all the points they can get in hopes of shaking up the top five. The Creek Trail Crüe put together five challenging and diverse stages, spanning from Granite Peak to the main bike park trails with a mix of lift and pedal transfers. At the end of the day, Saben Rossi and Mia Migliorino led the Pro classes to victory. Who won the series titles? Keep scrolling to find out!

With its large rock features and high-speed corners, Mountain Creek is the perfect venue to test a rider's sharpened skills at the end of the season.

Practice day is for learning the tracks, but also taking advantage of Creek's perfect jumps.

These trails are notorious for busting tires and rims so an extra set of wheels is everything. Factory Phil making sure Steve Estabrook's are ready to roll.

The final ESC Enduro rider's meeting of the season, you should know the rules by now but Chris will read them one more time just in case.

A chilly morning lift ride, then a short pedal to Stage 1 on Granite Peak.

Matt Sebas put together a great season on the bike, fifth place for the Pro Men this weekend and just 15 points off the overall title.

Flat Tire Defender Super Stage winners, including our fastest amateurs Ryan Bigham and Hanna Holm.

According to this little guy, it could be a long winter. Get it while you can!

After a pedal back to the top of Granite Peak, riders would tackle Stage 2. U20 class winner Tyler Zenoni drifts his way into first place with two stage wins.

Wells Tanner scored his first U20 podium and will certainly be on the hunt for more next season.

ProBuilds Racing's Adrian Hayden ended his first Pro season on a high note, fourth on the day and third in the overall.

Second place for Hannah Sulas this weekend, which was enough to take the Amateur ladies' overall title.

Inside or outside lines are bound to be more photogenic this time of year.

Sam Poirier has been jersey hunting all season, two wins, eight podiums and the 20-29 men's class title.

40-49 men's class race and overall winner Greg Jackson zooms through the foliage.

Ryan Bigham blasts through the famed Asylum rock garden, he would go on to take the 30-39 Men's win and championship jersey.

B.J. Treglia has been racing for over ten years and still continues to be a regular on the 40-49 Men's podium, second place this weekend.

U15 boys class winner Jack Zenoni sends it down the huge rock slab on Stage 4.

Fourth place for Trevor Zartan on the day and second in the U20 overall series.

Third place for Andria Golden, her best result of the season, and enough points to earn her second in the Pro Women's class overall.

A pair of stage wins, second on the day, and the 2021 champions jersey for first-year Pro, 14-year-old Kale Cushman. The future is bright for this rising star!

Mia Migliorino earned top honors by over seven seconds in her first Pro race.

Pro Women: 2nd - Kale Cushman, 1st - Mia Migliorino, 3rd - Andria Golden

Defiant Racing's Steve Estabrook had to beat Matt Sebas to win the Pro Men's class overall. He was able to take third with Sebas in fifth to secure the white jersey.

Max Beaupre earned a pair of stage wins and was on pace all day. An unfortunate tumble on Stage 1 would cost him the win, second place by just .663.

The overall fastest time of the day was set by Saben Rossi, winning the Pro men's class with a final race time of 15:34.445.

Pro Men: 4th - Adrian Hayden, 2nd - Max Beaupre, 1st - Saben Rossi, 3rd - Steve Estabrook, 5th - Matt Sebas

The Kate's Real Food Kids class has a blast this season, they'll be on top of the Pro podiums before we know it.
