So me and my buddies were riding Snowshoe this passed weekend and had a knock on our door Sunday night. It was a guy delivering a bag and bike box. I looked at the luggage tag and said "I know whose bike this is but he's not here. Id assume he's staying here tomorrow after we leave". It was Bens Megatower and camera bag. Haha we couldnt believe it. Threw it in the room for him and sent him a DM with a picture of his stuff. Super nice guy. Bummed I missed my chance to feel the magic of the money hat on my head though

Tina looked like she knew it reeked of sweat though...

"Yes, I know stuff."

Loving Tina's participation on the videos.

upper and lower hareball is a brutal trail, i was in snowshoe last year for some riding and ventured down it on my enduro bike.... half way through i was seriously regretting my decision. this race will me wild, hopefully the tv coverage does the rock gardens justice
(Sep 5, 2019 at 6:20)
I love taking people down Lower Hareball for their first time.I just tell them to keep your momentum and youll be fine.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 6:35)
: ah yes momentum how could i have forgotten that, its so simple. then i just have to focus on not being ruined by one of the hundreds of massive rocks, holes, roots, slippery moss and trees and i would have been fine.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 7:24)
: Either fine or very not fine. Those rock gardens have a particular speed where they work, too fast or too slow and they are soul crushing, right speed and they are almost heaven.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 7:31)
: Correct! One wrong snag on a rock and you are screwed for momentum.Cant wait for the ghosting from Cathro on LowerHB.(I hope)
(Sep 5, 2019 at 9:02)
: Yeah, I've been through it where I thought: "Fun baby. Let's go!." and then there was the time I got exhausted about halfway down fighting my bike and decided to just get off and walk out so I'd have any energy left for my race run.

All the WC have to be like this! I don't hate Leogang but comparing both here we got another level, so, pull away Leogang and put Schladming again !! ps: it have also a new Gondola.

Thanks hurricane Dorian!!!!!!! I was supposed to be there but cant because my house is getting battered by this storm.Great timing!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 3:47)
Good luck down there!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 2:20)
lol love the intro,
(Sep 5, 2019 at 5:39)
HA! That opening, hahaha! Psyched to hear that everyone approves of the track! I'll be arriving tonight for my 40th BDAY BAAAASSSHHHH!!!!!!! WHOOO!!!! Thanks for the killer coverage, Ben!!!!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 3:07)
Planned to be there this weekend, but now it can’t happen. Pretty bummed.
Man this is the stuff I ride every weekend, in North Carolina, minus the 60ft gaps. Excited to see the best in world figure this one out.
Hopefully Red Bull can get some good footage, not the usual wide open scenario.
Anywhere there see if there platforms are setup in good spots?
(Sep 5, 2019 at 4:45)
Same here. I had reservations for a room and everything. Schedule changed so now I am just a watcher. Bummed as it is only a few hours away from me. Snowshoe is such an awesome place to ride. A few weeks ago I was there when they were still working on the track. It looked great then. Cannot wait to see an updated POV on it.
(Sep 6, 2019 at 3:26)
I warn you, it can be pretty soul crushing.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 2:04)
Another cracker - would have liked more rider interviews. It would be good to hear what they thought of the track. That bit where you said - as you can see the PoV didn't give a good impression of the steepness - I don't think your camera did much better. There's a pic from the chairlift in the photo epic that shows it - and it looks pretty crazy.

I hope Brook will ave the same mindset while racing in the future. It's not easy after such a crash and mental chaos. I really hope that he will be racing with as much joy an a bit more luck in the future!!

The NASA shirt was worse that the £$€ hat. It was like the end of Pulp Fiction.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 2:15)
Cathro has obviously got a bigger special effects budget!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 6:09)
How would Brook's helmet come off in the crash? I saw that was one of the Instagram comments... did he not strap his helmet or did the Alpinestars helmet have a failure???
(Sep 5, 2019 at 7:55)
Kudos Ben for giving us updates on the injured riders! Heal up quickly all! I get on a plane today to head to Snowshoe. Pumped!!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 6:54)
Man, It must have been really good what you got !!!
(Sep 5, 2019 at 10:08)
Too bad the racers will skirt that big jump but smart of Ben to realize it.
(Sep 5, 2019 at 13:33)
Watching during timed practice and everybody is going to the side.. makes sense for time.
