This was great and definitely something we have been missing as race fans but I can't decide if I like his or Claudio's better... Ben's was definitely more informative but Claudio's were hilarious and more relatable for us mortals lol. Six of one, half a dozen of the other I suppose.
@Patrick9-32: makes sense...but if it rains, that pavement corner into the finish is going to be like ice (especially with a little dirt/mud on top from riders coming in)....organizers are going to have to set some hay barrels up to catch riders who slide out
@SATN-XC: Yeah, I would not want to hit a 90 degree corner on wet tarmac with mud spikes clogged with grass at race pace. @IanJF is right, a berm would be needed.
So good, Gee is great at course previews too, Claudio as well.
Nice to get different people out there.
Go get'em Cathro, make the Big Show on Sunday!!!!
Nothing against G-man but I find it more relatable & entertaining watching riders just trying to make it down in one piece & making mistakes along the way (Claudio's sound effects were the best). Cathro is also just so darn likeable... GOOD LUCK BEN!
Is there somewhere I can look to see where these events will be streaming so I can watch them? Do you guys already post that in some article announcing the races?
Ben, I'd really like to hear your take on why so many crashes leading to hospitalization happening on this track. Almost can't believe the names..... You rode this, is it that bad?
good luck Ben!
..Also, why not finish in the grass? was there a reason for it? seems moving it further down doesn't add much other than a step down and some pavement
I always look forward to his comments and previews
